Dumbest int of the year getting hyped as a great play…
It was 4th down, and he tried to make a play

That one's extremely bad. As a tackle you can never get beat to the inside on a pass play. That's a mortal sin, because it's the fastest path to the QB. You have to make them go around the outside.
The DE even telegraphed his move. If you're going to give him the inside like that then you let him spin in and burry him down the line to take him out of the play.
And my concern is Frost and/or Austin will take half the season to bench them if they don't improve.

Think the stats have shown most of the weakness in the line is coming from the left side. Seen quite a few times when Corcoran has been overpowered, and Piper seems to be missing assignments. Not saying the rest of the line is great, but that left side definitely needs to be rethought.

They beat an undersized FCS team that has gone 7-27 (0-2, '21; 1-8, '20; 3-9, '19; and 3-8, '18) over the past 4 seasons. Not saying we'll win, but really should take nothing from this game.

In hindsight, the one thing I'll add to my original post is if we put up 27 more points (from the 3 TDs called back and the 2 missed FGs) we win 55-3.
55-3 with a crappy oline and bad special teams. And if I saw any other team beat Buffalo by that margin, I would say 'that's a damn good team.'
But then again it wasn't another team that put up 55, and I'm a critical Nebraska fan, therefore our o-line sucks and STs leave a lot to be desired.

Our o-line is holding us back, and all of their jobs should be up for grabs.

On that Martinez run. Looks like miscommunication between the center and LG. Don't know whose fault it was, but that can't happen, the MLB was obviously coming.

Seems like a decent coach.

It's why I want to see this team against OU. I saw it against IL. I wasn't impressed. If you can can take 52 points against Fordham without a grain of salt ... okay. I just chose to pass on the Fordham game. There are really no "measurements" I can make from that ... other than we averaged something like 2.78 yards per carry?
Even Frost said, “I thought we ran hard — still want to get the run game established a little earlier and a little better,” Frost said. “We need our base run plays to get us 5 or 6 (yards) when they're getting us 2 and get us 11 when they're getting to 6. And I think that's a team effort."
I'll be curious to see how many "studs" we have on the OL come the OU game. It will be fun to watch. I think we will be humbled. I hope we are not humiliated ... but if it is necessary ... so be it.On 1620, Damon said one of the issues with the o-line was (paraphrasing), their technique of allowing the defenders to get in there body instead of just trying to push the defenders down field. Tend to agree.

Don't know why Frost abandoned the run near the end zone.
