Really dissappointed that Yant isn't getting more carries.
Think if RB doesn't work out for yant, he could be a good MLB

If Urbs is the guy, think the contract is over $8M?

Raiola needs to be fired if he doesn't give anyone else a chance

I wonder who he would get to toughen up our D? We need help - NW had over 500 yards against our 'improved D'.
I would get Ron Roberts, DC Baylor. Has 31 years of experience and knows Aranda's system.

Mullen. Only had two losing seasons in the SEC West. Offensive guru. Team him with Whip and Joseph, may have an offensive juggernaut.

Jurgens? He didn't produce Jurgens, that was freakish genetics. A different coach had to be brought in to get his snaps right.
What about farniok and jaimes? That's still two more drafted players than some coaches on the team.

I don't know if I buy that. How many offensive linemen have we had leave with eligibility remaining?
How many players have we had leave with eligibility remaining?
Don't think players leaving is always indicative of coaching.

OL preview from SSO. And some things that make you go "hmmmm"
Also, you have new OL coach Donovan Raiola in place, who takes over for Coach Austin who was with Scott Frost for 6 years as his OL coach. There definitely needed to be a change, as Frost and Austin butted heads the last few years, but some of the narrative really frustrates me. First, it was Austin who was telling our staff we need to be more north and south with our running game. The outside zone stuff just didn’t work with how our OL was built.
And the fact people try saying it was Austin who wanted it a certain way is crazy to me. It’s not like Frost was trying to run downhill and Austin just taught some awful technique for it. If Austin needed to be the scapegoat, that’s fine. But we are some of the smartest football fans in the game, let’s be better than thinking all of a sudden we have some wild new philosophy Raiola is teaching to get off the ball faster. It’s actually the offensive scheme changing that has helped us. Trust me, if Austin was still here under Whipple, you’d probably be happy with what we are seeing.

I think Austin was scapegoated. I read somewhere that Chins said Austin was the most respected coach from the initial staff, not to mention he produced the single highest drafted position group on the team. Not saying his lines were perfect, but he's taking too much blame for the offenses past problems.

I'm just more curious about this because of who's still out there, not so much Jackson himself.
With Coleman, Miller and Manning still to be had, I wonder what our plan is. My best guess at the moment is they think Coleman can/will play OLB and they'd still take the other two if they both want N. But it will be interesting to see.
Sean Callahan suggests there might be significant WR turnover next year and the coaches may be trying to shore up talent in anticipation.

Rewatched the Spring Game. Still think we are the same position we were in last year; a defense that can win the division and an inept offense.

Sorry but the Benhart experiment needs to be over. But of course the staff will wait until he gets exposed by OU to finally make the change.
