Why the F is Casey Thompson not on this roster? We are winning this game if he is.
Would you want to be? Raiola nearly got him killed last season . . .

That's game.

Classic Tom Osborne counter run!

It's crazy how much the defense has improved since Chinander FINALLY got fired! Remember how fervently this board defended that dweeb!

He’s everywhere. CU scored huge.
Took 1 game for him to become the face of college football. At least he has allowed NU to be momentarily relevant.

I'm at work, but see it's still scoreless. How is the game?
Crippling mistake as soon as we get anything going. You've seen it before, you know what it looks like.

All things considered from what we've seen, ending the first quarter still at 0-0 is a win for Nebraska.
I've never seen this movie before!

So far, from what I've seen from his offense up to this point I think you're right.
I want to be careful in my judgement because this is only game 2, but I wonder how his offense would look if his starting QB was playing better.
Sims would probabaly be a Heisman candidate if he played for Kansas State lol.
There is a correct way to use thr type of QBs Nebraska recruits. We just refuse to use them correctly.

Nebraska's defense might be legit!

I’d rather lose with the future than with guys who have been here for 3-4 years. They are not changing. Reason Prime cleaned house.
Maybe Raiola still disagrees with his OC's philosophy, or whatever the excuse was.

Will be interesting to see if Sims is held to the same standard as Grant. He ought to be.

Carbon copy of Martinez.

OL getting blown up on those running plays…
Wondering how badly Rhule wants to start playing the young guys. That's his whole thing.

Blitz Sanders all day. A 15 yard roughing the passer is better than a 65 yard TD.

I literally haven't done that I have said multiple times we don't know what kind of team TCU is after this game given their record volatility and loss of production on both sides of the ball. They are not the team they were last year as they lost starters at most key positions. Declaring Colorado has made some massive turnaround because they beat TCU is making a snap judgment. We do not know if TCU is any good. Maybe they are but maybe they aren't and same goes for Colorado, Minnesota, and Nebraska as well.
You literally declared Sanders is a better coach than the one we hired and the reason we didn't hire Sanders is because Nebraska is racist...after one game coached at the power 5 level. If that isn't a snap judgment I'm not sure what is.
If we can conclude TCU isn't the same team as last year then we can also conclude Colorado isn't the same team as last year. One is as much of a snap judgment as the other. You're trying to have it both ways by talking yourself in circles.
To be fair, I declared all that about Sanders, and Nebraska snubbing him, long before he ever coached a game at Colorado. Now I'm just saying I told you so. Nothing would please me more than for Rhule to prove me wrong in a few days. There's no reason at all Nebraska's turnaround should take longer than Colorado's. Sanders took over a worse team than Rhule did.
If you look at what Colorado was last year, and look at their one win this year, there's no question at all they've turned things around to some degree. They broke what? More than a dozen school records already? First road win against a ranked opponent in a couple decades? To pretend we can't learn anything from an amazing turnaround like that is willful ignorance.

I refuse to give into the snap judgments after 1 week of football.
Right, except when you're making snap judgments about TCU after 1 week of football.

It's more about first downs and time of possession than it is yards. To beat Colorado we'll need to keep their NFL QB and WRs on the sidelines as long as possible.

One game shows that the program is turned around? OK...they got a win and that's good for them. But....I fail to see how the turnaround is complete and everything is fantastic based on one game. And...I fail to see how the Huskers are a complete dumpster fire and Rhule is a failure based on one game.
Football doesn't work like that.
I don't suspect anything is complete, but it has been a dramatic turnaround for Colorado thus far. There's no reason that much can't be gleaned from one game.

Anyone who vaguely follows football might think TCU is a solid program. But if you actually follow closely you would know TCU has been a middling program outside of last season.
And of course I will downplay the win. It's Colorado and I hate Colorado. You can give them credit all you want but it's Colorado so who cares.
Okay, it's a middling program whose playoff run doesn't count for anything. I'm perfectly willing to let you have it your way. It just means next week we'll either be winning or losing against a team that's also not very good. So if we win, it's not a very good win. If we lose, it's a bad loss.

It's hilarious that Rhule didn't even do enough homework to know Sims had major turnover issues.
