Just read that Ole miss said no to him and that hawaii is talking with him. Dont want you guys to think i want this i am just a big husker fan and a big college football fan that reads alot of boards about different teams. I believe in team chemistry alot. Just thought it would be something to talk about during the offseason.

I agree with this just thought it was interesting that he could play, and some kinda big schools are actually looking at him.

I kinda thought this was what everyone would say about coming to NE. But I was wondering why other schools would go after him like Ole Miss? Do they see it that maybe in Miss he cant get into as much trouble and wont really know anybody?

If Zac lee's arm is not healing like the coaches want is there any chance they look at Masoli? im not saying i want this i was just wondering. I read that he got his degree and can play this season. It says Ole miss is interested. Would the coaches even consider it? Our AD has been known to give someone another chance.

This is why I put it here. I just thought people would want to know they lost someone who started alot of games last year.

A tight end for Washington was kicked off the team for breaking team rules. Started 11 games last year. Was passed on the depth chart in spring but they said he would still be a valuable piece of the offense.

have heard somethings about this kid....... his team is defending state champs and i find it interesting he grew up watching nebraska as we usually arent on much over here.. usually lots of pac-10 crap...... Well he said that his dad liked the huskers and that he watched the big 12 champ. and the Holiday bowl game last year.

will it look good for the big 10 to have teams like indiana, northwestern, minnesota, and purdue winning one or two games a year with all the good teams they will have to play.

ha,ha, ha............I've been following recruiting since these sites were free. Since HI was toughtonydavis.com. Every single QB recruit I have listed, the coach that landed them was their primary recruiter. I'm not disputing some the regions these coaches are assigned to, but not one was the QB coach. You posted nothing but facts that back up my stance. What area does Watson recruit and who has he landed this year?? Busy game planning the O. Oh, I guess he doesn't recruit. Like someone else posted, he watches film, he evaluates, then he comes up with his list. He runs his QB camp in the summer then hands the list off to the staff to sign them. I guess I am wrong, not having a QB sign in this class isn't Watson's fault at all, it's on the staff. Like they don't have other players to recruit. So you are saying that Ekler the linebacker coach evaluated and had everything to do with C Green being here. No. And that Carl pelini evaluated Taylor M. No. Just because they are the primary recruiter doesnt mean that they were the one that found them or were the one that evaluated the film on them maybe helped and went and got the kid but watson does his part.

That was my point, it's HIS job to recruit a QB each class, he's not getting it done. The staff is doing his job for him, to put it succinctly. Yes Green would've signed with NU as Ekeler was his primary recruiter. Ditto with Carl and Martinez. You're knew to recruiting?? In the big picture this has more to do with incompetency than anything to do with Carnes' decision. Watson was looking to be bailed out by TF, didn't work, now his recruiting decisions over the past year have been magnified tenfold for what they are I think you are new to recruiting because watsons job is to find the qb recruits you really think that ekler the linebackers coach knows what to look for in a qb. Its watsons job to find them and ekler and guys to go get them N.

On HI it says that they are only recruiting him as a safety doesnt sound like he will even get a shot a QB. Bo is going to talk to him and his parents tonight it also said.

Was just wondering if anyone had heard how it went in lincoln for him?

His coach said that they were talking about all three schools even though owa has told HI that it is pretty much down to two. He also said that he wants to have a decision by friday but is not sure when he will go public with it. He has finals this week. His coach told him to follow his heart. Which I think is in Lincoln.

Duh... we're fans! Haha yeah I get what your saying but I mean Owa is a big time talent. Will he live up to the hype? We'll see but he will have a opportunity to do so right away, but at the same time we have players at his position where he doesn't need to come in and start. Also I think a lot of this excitement just comes because at the start we had little to no shot. Somehow we got him to come visit for the OU game which was a huge accomplishment. After a couple of months things couldn't be any more different as we are now his favorite school. I thought he visited the kstate game?

EHHH I don't know about that. If he can be a first round draft pick after 3 years, I think his mother will be happy to share the millions with him and let the not graduating part go. He could always go back to school later in his career. Im saying if he is not a top ten lock. Kinda like suh last year I think he would come back just like suh. If your are a lock like bradford or locker i think you come out.

Also with how concerned his mom and him are with the schooling part of it sounds like he will be here four years to.

I think he probably gets PT as a freshman and then takes over allens spot to start his soph year.
