  1. I was on this site once before although mainly as a lurker. I left for some time on some of the other premium boards in Husker Nation. However I am turning over a new leaf and deciding to take a more lighthearted approach to the Huskers. I'm still die-hard just with the ability to have some humor at our expense some times. I am presently living in South Africa which makes it a bit hard to follow anyway. Looking forward to a great season where we beat everyone we are supposed to and a few of those we aren't. I'll say 12-2 with a conference championship loss then a bowl win. At least this way even if we hit the 4 loss standard I didn't fret about it all season, just the whole off season. Look forward to some great insight from you all.
  2. Maybe I am naive but I think the WRs will look a lot better next year without doing anything on their own. If the line gains some depth and dominates the way a lot of people think they will the QB (Zac, Cody or Kody) will have plenty of time to get the ball out. Also, to me a lot of balls were slightly off target (behind on crossing routes for instance) that either caused drops or minimal YAC. I think all of this changes next season and it makes them better over night.
  3. I think I am one of the loan followers of this blog but WOW. He really rips into Missouri's season. I never knew in all the crap they gave us for winning "only because of 3 late TDs" they did the same thing against Bowling Green. They are not going to be around long if they can't dominate the BG's of the world. Wow
  4. Stumbled across this blog that summarizes the season. Nice expectations for the Huskers and the North. Chief Snick
  5. It should be noted that NU is the only school recruiting him as a QB. Thats also part of his reason for being so high on the Huskers. Sorry for the negativity but I am a little gunshy when it comes to recruiting QBs, especially good ones.
  6. I'm not really a fan of the direction Watson is going but this blog kinda puts it into perspective. If we have to endure years of little offense but we can compete with the big boys I can live with it. In MU's best season they were rolled by the only decent team. Also, CC fits the MU system perfectly. My guess is that he will have much better numbers at MU than NU no matter who we have as a coordinator. MU vs NU
  7. I'm in Reno....Mizzou vs UNR game on its way so fly up and lets root fer NV (can't see myself cheering for Mizzou). MU will be 2-2 when NU rolls into town!
  8. I saw on a blog that he was in Omaha already to see if he can play this season. Does anyone know if this is even possible? I am sure they will make an exception to an all star athlete to get him through the admissions process. Thanks
