In an interview earlier this week, one of Virginia Tech's starting Defensive tackles said that the best opponent he has faced this year was the LG for Nebraska. You guys have a good team. That is one thing that I do wish VT had. More tradition. VT's great players before 1999? Bruce smith, antonie freeman... Thats about it. Nebraska has great, great tradition. College football needs you back to full strength and Bo has yall on the way there

Hokie here. Sorry for your loss tonight guys. I can't say the cover 2 was a good play call, because obviously it didn't work you for you guys. But I will say this in Bo's defense (who, by the way, clearly has yall's program going in the right direction). It's been a running joke amoung Hokie circles that Tyrod cannot make the deep pass. In fact, earlier in the game dyrell roberts had a few steps on a corner and tyrod over threw him by 5 yards. Seems to me that it was only logical at the time to force tyrod to make throws well down the field which he has never shown an ability to complete. In the end however its a bit of a mute point. Regardless of what coverage was called, the safety absolutely has to be guarding Coale on the streak. Blown coverage.

Sorry for that lost tonight guys and gals. Thats a tough one to swallow, especially when your team clearly dominated most of the contest. Don't think us Hokies don't know who the sharper team was today. On another note, Huskers are unquestionably the best fans to come to Blacksburg in decades. The hospitality you all displayed at last years game was only matched by the classiness you had this weekend. From the city wide tailgating to your fans clapping at the end of the game, I was thoroughly impressed by your maturity. Awesome fans. Know how to have fun. You guys get football. I'll be pulling for you all the rest of the season, and my family enjoyed ourselves so much interacting with you all we might travel down and watch a Big Red game when their not playing our Hokies so we can cheer for your fine squad in good conscience.
