Did he really. He just brought in Bo, who at the time might have been one of the best D coaches. 

Just had a ten win season. You don't think he should have had time, to get some new coaches, who would be willing to go on the road, to recruit. He had some that couldn't.

Not saying he would have gone on to greatness, but we sure haven't had any better luck with anyone else, in the last 19yrs.

Frost is getting the time to build the program. He probably will, but if Pederson were still screwing up the program, would Frost still be here ?

Solich was a Cornhusker thru and thru. He didn't deserve to be fired they way he was. 

Say what you want, I liked him. Could he have kept the program, top ten ? 

He never got the chance to try, so we will never know.

We might not be able to get "those guys", but every once in awhile we did.

What we used to do better then anyone else, was develop those exact type of guys.

I don't think the kids now will wait their turn. Frost has to hit on his take, on a kids willing to work, and have the right attitude, from one or two meetings?

First or second impression's don't always give you the whole picture. 

Give Frost time, and lets hope he turns the corner next year.

Really hope changes are made on offense and ILB.

I thought this was a great read into where we are today, as a program and going forward. 

I think we are maybe 1 pass rusher away from being one of the top D in the west. No one is going to shut down the offenses of today, totaly. 

We do have to be able score in the red zone, besides f/g. Better power running might help that. Play calling in the red zone is still hard to understand.

Well we might have just beat the worst team in the B1G, but they played 8 games before us, and no one had 3- 90 yard drives against them in a half. Has to say something what this team can do, with the coaches we have now. 

Special teams are out in the twilight zone, by themselves.

It will be a real Black Friday if we lose this game. Let's hope we get them now. They have their old coach back, and if he has the success he had the first time around, it's going to get harder down the road.

I've been a Husker fan to long to give up hope, so Ill just keep watching and hope for the best.

Watching the o-line recruits Frost has brought in the last two years, it shouldn't be long before we see the fruits of the recruiting. These kids are all 6'6" or taller all ready caring some good weight, and should benefit from the weight room by next year, and getting some playing time this year. I don't know for sure, but we might have the biggest o-line in the B1G in a year or two. The pipe-line might be starting, I think.

This staff is not a Big10 winning staff.. its not a Pac12 top tier staff.. Big12? okish.. yes... but Frost brain is Pac12 / speed style..  Chip K and Frost are NOT winning since Oregon / UCF days.. 

 

We need a Rutgers, Iowa, Wisc, Youngstown lol .. etc.. blue collar staff... the tan and cigar smoking UCF style is no good in November rain snow... Mario.. 

 

 

 

 

I said the same thing about Chin, when Scott was hired. Was told he would have better players here and do fine. Scott put up so many points at UCF, that the wins covered up what the D really was. I think after next year if Chin can't put a decent team out there, then Scott has to take a hard look at Chin's job. He can always move him to help at a different part of the program.

I think we have some good up and coming w/r and r/b. There are some big boys headed to the o-line soon. I don't know what happened to 2AM since his freshmen year, but we need him to forget what's happened since, and let it fly. 

Frost has to check himself on his play calling in the red zone. Just start a power game in the red zone, or roll out the qb's, and let them make the play. Chin has to coach his D up. Don't know if he can. Would hate to see another BC and Cos thing again.

I was one of the fans on here to," let Luke start posts". It didn't work out, so lets regroup and start again. 

There is talent on this team and i"m glad they are getting the freshmen out there. They will only get better with playing time. 

We all want wins, so do I, but if we have to take some lumps now for next year, so be it.
