Its very hard to be objective when this loss hurts so badly. Zac cant play against teams from oklahoma. Our DB's look like terrified little kids out there. As far as pass protection is concerned, our o-line played the game of their lives. sure there were a couple of coverage sacks but this was our best game in regards to pass protection. Losing Bowman really hurt our secondary, that much is obvious when every receiver we played against this year had career games against us. give credit to OU for taking our weaknesses and serving them on a gigantic sh#t sandwich on a platinum platter. I have to question the play calling. Callahan becomes very predictable when he falls behind. It hurt us even more when Taylor's passes seemed to stall and float far too long. Sure the Okie St. game was embarrassing, but this hurts even worse. Sorry for the rant, And now back to your regular scheduled programming.

i remember around this time last year there wasnt a lot of texass orange. then i go on winter break for school, Texas beats USC, come back from winter break, and all the airhead blondes are wearing texass orange. i was shocked. it went from "bag-over-face ugly" to "cant be seen without it." bandwagon fans piss me off.

anybody else notice on ESPiN, every time they show a USC highlight, its one from the USC/Nebraska game? or is it just my overactive imagination? paranoia will destroy ya.

thats misleading. Texas could barely run at all all season. They only had 2 100 yard rushers all season, and those were both in the same game if i remember correctly. Kind of odd considering they were supposed to have 4 All-Everything Offensive Linemen.

and Barry Sanders too. Even the revered Tom Osborne dropped the ball sometimes.

what did they expect? first time we've played in the game in what, 7 years? wish i was goin.

i was very disappointed that the coaches didnt give Dane a carry on Senior Day. Especially after we had secured the game. they should have lined him up at receiver or something lol.

On Defense, we need to spy a little more. The QB scramble is killer. Against CU, we dropped our LB's into coverage and all that sCUm QB had to do was wait until Carriker and Moore rushed by and he would scamper off. If we didnt have secondary issues we wouldnt have to drop our LB's into coverage all the time. Our LB's overreact to plays and they need to fulfill their assignments and hit their respective gaps. On Offense, protect Zac. Our running attack isnt enough to win it for us. We need Zac to throw for at least 250 yards and 2 scores, at the minimum. Against Texas and USC, we were'nt able to run very effectively. im sure no-one has forgotten that. I dont expect the run to be very effective against OU's stout defense. If we jump out ahead early, we will cough up the lead. Sure we prevented a 2-9 team from comin back, but can we keep a 10-2 team from not coming back? OU has gone through a lot of adversity this year and they are a stronger team for it, much like us last year. We know we can come back if we fall behind a bit because our QB has pulled us back several times last year and pulled off the miracle at A&M (with a little help from Barry Turner in the form of a blocked field goal to secure the win). Just some of my thoughts.

He's coming back... people need to stop with all the f'ing rumors, he just said he's coming back and people still have to talk about it being a possibilty. He said a ZERO % chance which means there is no way he's leaving! how could you leave off the JUCO who won the Heisman here at NEBRASKA?

i am truly surprised by this. i thought for sure Colt McCoy was going to get the award, but his performance against A&M took care of that. Im glad Carriker got the award but i didnt think that was going to happen considering that he didnt start truly playing until the latter half of the season.

perhaps, but experience in learning new systems and being experienced in transitions helps a lot.
