This started a long time ago.......

1. They've had enough time to not regress this bad. There's countless examples. 2. Yes, and every analyst in the country seemed to think so. The regression is troubling. I wonder how much this team buys in to the new coaching staff. I know I'm no "analyst" but it appears there are some question marks in both the talent and effort department. Analsysts are wrong quite often. Just like the rest of us.

We'll add the trophies from this season to Bo Pelini's trophy case.

Coaches teach fundamentals. Maybe you've heard of this. I've not heard of this before. What are these fundamentals you speak of? Do juniors and seniors learn their fundamentals and techniques from coaches in their first two -three years in the program, or does a coaching staff teach juniors and seniors all new fundamentals and techniques in a few months of "actual coaching"? I realize the staff has been hired 10 months ago, but how much actual time have these guys had to rebuild these players fundamentals? Second question. Are we sure these players are good enough to be fundamentally sound, technically sufficient football players?

At this point, I don't know if you just put them out there and let them catch their share of the ass kicking. I mean my God, how much worse can they be?

The defense was there! We had 6 players in position to make the play!! NONE OF THEM MADE THE PLAY! HOLY sh#t PEOPLE, THE COACHES CAN'T GO OUT THERE AND TACKLE FOR THEM TOO! At least 4 guys over ran the play and the guys underneath gave up on the play because they thought it was going outside. What the hell game are you people watching? so you think this coaching staff is responsible for anything? Did you think it was all the players fault when Bo was getting embarrassed too? I always thought it was partially the players faults, especially the poor tackling in Bo's scheme. But I watched Bo walk the same "stop the pass first" defense out there for seven years. I've seen Bankers defense for a couple months and generally the players are in position to make a play and just don't. Period. It's not a scheme issue when the defender looks like a floundering dumbass every time the ball is in the air.

My only gripe against this staff is the lack of accountability at this point. The same guys going out there and playing like sh#t. Still, I'm not sure what they can do about it. You don't just throw an even worse player in there. If this is the best we've got, we're screwed.

I realize in your alternate reality the QB is never responsible for anything but most people know the QB has to make up for other people's mistakes The QB has to make up for other peoples mistakes? This team never makes the same dumb mistakes over and over again. Did that guy seriously just say Reilly is one of the most consistent WR's on this team? Holy crap.
