Agreed. Everyone wants to cut Wats some slack. But come on now... Really? The guy is arrogant and stubborn which is not always a bad thing. But when things are not working all the time and you try zone reads with a 4.7-4.8 QB with no production it makes it hard for me to support him. Yea our skill players had bad games at certain times but that is why you play to our strengths. Back in the day we were good because we played to our strengths. We ran at you until you broke. And we pulled up on play action once and ahwile. We didn't have top athletes but we beat top teams. Our offenses knew what the goal was. To beat the other team down. Which we saw in the 4th quarter on saturday. This was the first time in a long time where I felt our offense was beating the defense up on every play. We kept hitting them over and over and they knew they were outplayed and outworked.

Correct. The only reason people thought it was taunting is because the player was hurt. What does the skull and cross bones symbolize after a big play or hit??? The KU game was a little dirty though. But atleast we are being physical like the good o'l days.

You obviously know more about offensive football and our football team than anybody else the University could have paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to, who also study this team and it is their job to fix the offense. Right now it's Watson. If we really wanted, Bo could go out and find another top-notch guy to do the same job. Think it'll be you? I don't. So don't act like you know everything and these coaches are idiots compared to you. Ok guy, I do not think he was trying to proclaim his amazing play calling ability. He was just suggesting an idea that is a little far-fetched. (at this point we should be willing to try anything) Although what he is saying is simplistic, he has a good point. Maybe if for a drive or two Watson says "hey you know what kid, air it out and make something happen". We would be better off. Because our offense is pathetic. You can talk about past all you want. Even if it was just a year ago. The condition the Nebraska offense is in is unacceptable. Yea we are 77th in scoring offense, which sadly most people like YOU try to point out as a strong point in your argument. The whole "we are not that bad plee. cause we are better then half the country". We have premier facilities, a pretty good coaching staff and decent hard working players as a whole. So 77th in the nation in scoring offense is not going to cut it. Considering we scored more than half of those points against the Sun-Belt. Anyways its guys like you who piss me off. You are the idiot. You insult anybody who talks about how our offense is terrible. Or when someone makes a suggestion that you do not agree with. He just throwing it out there for thought like " hey what if he did do this"? you think these forums really mean anything? like it is going to affect anything that has to do with what happens on saturday at all? Lee is not the answer... plain and simple those who think otherwise are well... stupid. However I DO UNDERSTAND why putting him in the game last night helped. I just think there were several oppurtunities were Cody could have helped yield better results. results like 3 first downs for instance. All Lee did was manage a safe, predictable offense... kinda. well not really it was pathetic. Oh and one more thing Watson has earned his plain ticket home. This ONE bad season that is apparently a "fluke" to all the watson lovers is so terrible that he should not recieve a second chance. Every game i struggle to see his logic in his play calling.
