Yes we got bent over on the Helu fumble and yes we will continue to get bent over the rest of the way. The best way to deal with it is to come out and get a big lead like in the misery game and take the other team and zebras out of it.

Those of you who are going to the game:
Please have awesome "Free Eric Martin" signs, or any sign ripping Ron Franklin and Ed Cunningham. They probably won't show you on TV, but who knows... Maybe their producer hates them as much as we do.
Ed Cunningham
Sucks

I'll let you guess what I was thinking for the P, but I can't type it on the football board.

They ought to suspend the OSU special teams coach for putting players on the field that dont have an fing clue what they are doing. The guy was running down the field like he had a lollipop up his butt. I would have done the same thing Martin did and I hope when he comes back he goes out and crushes someones chest cavity.

Its going to be like every game from here on out. Teams are going to play the zone read and force us to throw. If Martinez makes good decisions and the receivers catch it we will win. If not, we probably lose. Despite what we saw 2 days ago the D is good enough to shut/slow anyone down.
-
the referees if they actually do a decent job and dont screw us every chance they get...11 vs 11 much better odds than 11 vs 12

I dont see how you think thats not a penalty. They get away with a lot of stuff that I think should be penalized. What that guy did was clearly a penalty.

This article is BS. Write about Roy Helu who basically spotted them a TD with his fumble or write about the 3 or 4 dropped TD passes that directly cost them the game. They took away the zone read, no surprise there. Martinez made more than enough throws to win the game and win it easily. Yeah, he made some mistake but he had every right to be angry when he got yanked. He handled it fine.

Coffee, then switch to Mountain Dew. There is no alcoholic beverage worth drinking, the stuff all taste like cough syrup.
Are you serious? I think Mtn Dew is worse for you than alcohol.

they should give out free coffee before the game so all the blue hairs will be jacked and ready to go. have em get out their prescription bottles and start shaking them and that place will be so loud.

I liked the all whites they wore against colorado a few years ago, although it might have had a little to do with the contrast against their all black. All red however, no thanks.

I would think recruiting just got a whole lot easier. They ought to have a bunch of not only regional, but nationally televised games next year and the year after. The schedule is ridiculously tough but it gives em a chance to earn everybody's respect and no one is going to run away with the division because all the good teams are on the schedule.

they have computers?

56-14...they mabye get a cheap one early and maybe one late. I expect a lot of carries from the RB's and I think there's a real good chance we get a TD from special teams.

First off, I hope TM stays because hes obviously very talented and probably a lot misunderstood. But if hes gonna leave it seems like its gonna have to happen within the next month or so. I mean why stay around UNL for spring ball if you know you are going to be leaving. And even though hes going to have to sit out a year he'll still want to go thru spring ball wherever he goes for lots of obvious reasons. I'm not sure what the enrollment cutoff would be but I'm guessing he'd have to be settled pretty close to the beginning of the semester. It seems to me that if hes still with the team come March or April that hes here for the long haul. I just dont see him transferring after that point because he'd risk getting lost in the shuffle and he still needs so much work as a passer. Maybe if he changed positions but I dont think thats gonna happen.
