I really want this kid. He's been talked up in conversations down here in east Texas. Dynamic athlete. He'll have a chance to play QB elsewhere and I believe we're recruiting him as a WR, but I think our coaches and his trip to Lincoln made a good impression on him, so he'll have a tough choice to make, but I think he'll make his decision in the next few weeks.

Anyone hear anything about Burton Burns possibly joining the staff?

from everything i've read about jags, i don't think i'd be a good fit at NU also, no offense (no pun here) to jeff sims, but going from HC at a CC to an OC at a major school like NU is a huge leap. not sure that would be the right fit either.
