Made it through the first five released episodes of The Witcher season 3.

So far, not a huge fan of this season. The first two episodes had really awkward pace and writing. Episodes 3-5 have been better but still sort of forgettable. It's also really sad/disappointing to watch from the standpoint that Henry Cavill won't be coming back.

I really, really liked season 1; I've surprisingly never played any of the games, but season 1 got me to read the books.

Season 2 was ok; sort of middling at times, but ok.

After the nonsense surrounding Cavill's departure, I'm skipping season 3 and whatever comes after.

Outside of football, there is no reason to have Oregon or Washington in the B1G.  And for most schools in the B1G (Purdue, Northwestern, Rutgers, etc) , there is no reason to have them in for football either.

If Oregon and Washington were going to add $$$ to each school via TV money they would have been added last year with USC/UCLA.

The whole thing needs to be blown up and football needs to leave the NCAA and be its own entity.  Then for every other sport we can go back to regional conferences that make sense.

Football needs to go back to regional conferences, too.

A couple of things.  The author was not Jessica or Sir Yacht.  So it's possibly true.  Clemson is my 2nd fave team so that'd be great.  I also can't stand FSU for the 1994 Orange Bowl and the incredibly bad officiating.  We have exorcised our demons against UF and Miami.  I'd like to regularly kick FSU around.

What demons did we ever have against Florida?

  4. Just finding this now, but I would recommend just shelling out for the official pro controllers; I've had one for 6 years now, and have had no issues with it. However, if you're so inclined, some of the cheaper ones in your price range don't come with wireless or rumble capabilities.

Power A controllers are pretty good, and are endorsed by Nintendo:

Hail Varsity Radio had an interview with Mike Huffman today. Sounds like Rhule was upfront with Kaelin, and said they were prioritizing Raiola, but wanted Kaelin if Dylan chose elsewhere. As soon as Dylan committed to UGa, the coaching staff went right after Kaelin. Contacted him on Monday and met with him where they saw him throw on Wednesday.  He impressed the coaches during that session. Kaelin had wanted to be a Husker since the 8th grade.

Props to Kaelin for being mature about the process too.

Or.. the players, staffs and administrations can just quit being wimps and play the darn games. The NFL has night games in below zero games, blizzards, freezing rain and every other weather condition. Players are much more likely to fall or become drastically ill from heat exhaustion and yet nobody is saying don't play those games.

My truth says this, if the fans are willing to be at the games and support then by George the players should be expected to as well. Cold weather is a part of football. Always has been, Always will be and to be honest, players have more fun and fonder memories of games played in severe weather. Let them play is what I say!!

I've long thought that cold weather could be more of a selling point for recruits than it is; 9 out of the last 14 participants in the Super Bowl have been from colder winter climates, and Green Bay and Buffalo have both had deep playoff runs the last few years.

From I remember, Bellevue West had a terrible defense last year. Kaelin was a big reason BW’s offense was one of the best in Nebraska last year. Yes, he has great talent with him at the skill positions, but I don’t think you should hold the 7-4 record against Kaelin. Plus, all of their losses were against other great teams in Nebraska.

Coaches do use high school film to judge players, but they mainly use in person evaluations to give offers. The coaches must have seen something they like in Kaelin to give him an offer.

This is a good point; Class A has been really tough in Omaha the past couple of years, great teams and some of the best individual talent the Metro has had in years. Plus, he threw for 3000 yards and 30+ TDs against that competition in his first year starting.
