And what does that actually mean?
It means we have a President who actually utters the words rural America let a lone tries to help them in some way me thinks.

late Wednesday night:
"Operating a college athletics program is a big job. It takes strong management skills, the ability to make tough decisions and the very highest levels of integrity. For as long as we’ve known him, Trev Alberts has delivered. Athletics are expensive, and there are unique challenges for smaller programs like UNO’s, especially in the changing athletics landscape. But sports are an integral part of our vibrant campus culture and we strongly support the investments we’ve made in our student-athletes. In his time at UNO and now at UNL, Trev has led with integrity and accountability. Every dollar of donor money has been used as directed and our programs have been responsibly and transparently managed. We have 100% confidence in his leadership.”

Aaah. I didn’t consider that the playoff seeding for the new 12T playoff may be a bit different than the current system. IDK how it’s setup but it would make some sense to have conference champions trumping some in the overall rankings thus B1G #2 moving down below 2 other conf champs.
Honestly I was just surprised that tOSU was #1 and ahead of both Michigan and UGA. Maybe meatchicken is being punished in the poll for their cheating scandal but IMO they have been the most dominant team thus far this season.
I'm still on the edge about Michigan. Their toughest teams on their schedule so far have been UNLV and Rutgers. At the same time yeah they've definitely been all dominating victories. I feel like we'll really know once they play a team with a good defensive line imo which so far they haven't.

For that pinch of straight up bizarre when it comes to this moronic story regarding the one and only Tommy Tuberville.

BRB's post got me thinking about guitarists. Honestly for me besides Jimi, Jerry and EVH my favorite guitarists I find often times are not people who play the most notes the fastest and the loudest etc but rather guitarists who have their own style, tone and know how to really fill a song. Playing moreso to blend in with the song rather than to stick out more for lack of a better description.
That is why (one of many reasons) I love Willie Nelson so much. Just him playing Trigger his acoustic guitar in any band. He will never win any technical awards but man I just love the way he plays.

For perspective which is kind of important here are the opposing teams offensive rank when looking just at Nebraska's victories:
Team Offensive Rank
Northern Illinois 85th
Louisiana Tech 70th
Illinois 80th
Northwestern 109th
Purdue 95th
Offensive rank of Nebraska's remaining opponents:
Michigan St ( 111th)Maryland (48th)
Wisconsin (73)
Iowa ( 130th /Last in all of FBS)

"As of today". They simply had to account for league champions I'm thinking (automatic bids - 2024 CFB playoff format). Hence the reason why Tulane is even listed at #12.
