MAKE EVERY PASTA DISH BETTER WITH BECHAMEL SAUCE.
how to make:
In a medium size pot, melt a stick of butter or so on medium heat.
Add a half cup or whatever of flour.
Stir and beat that sh#t like you're mad at it.
Add a pint of half and half.
Stir again and ask yourself "What the f#*k NUPolo8? This is runny and nasty and I don't know what we are do--oh holy crap it just instantly got thick and smells awesome"
Dump a tub of ricotta cheese in and stir until you are as angry as I am.
Apply to bold flavors.
Drink IPA's with your meal.
Make a note to work out tomorrow.
Window into NUpolo8's world complete.
Almost done. Sautee a few tiny diced onion in the butter first. Add a little nutmeg ( not much ) black pepper. All white sauces need either white or black pepper.
Omit the ricotta for grated Parmesan and voila' Alfredo sauce.
Sounds great, but if I may...
Replace the Parm with some smoked Gruyere, pour over open faced turkey sammich, lightly toast under broiler. Add fried egg if desired.
Best brunch ever (besides Eggs Benedict).

After school: MASH reruns, Gilligan, Andy Grifith, Happy Days, Flipper, Rin Tin Tin, Lassie, F-Troop,...
Saturday mornings: Loony Toons (which my eight year old watches daily now), Superfriends, Scooby Doo, Dungeons & Dragons (the cartoon, didn't play the game till later), He-Man,...
Sunday mornings before church: might get lucky and catch a Loony Toons or something, and Jot. I was pretty young for Jot, don't remember too much about it.
As far as prime time stuff, everything that knapplc mentioned above.

Washington. I could live with that as long as it wasn't too close to Seattle.

@Sean_Callahan Newly named Bison head coach Chris Keilman was Frazier's original recruiter in 2012 before he turned down multiple offers to walk-on at NU.
OK, well I guess that makes sense. I will be rooting for him.

I recommend trying another SIG, the 220. My buddy and I each bought one about 15 years ago and have been hooked ever since. Ultimately reliable and as accurate as any auto I have shot.

Question: Does "All Purpose Yards" include passing?
I'm guessing not or EC would have been higher, right?

+1 on the Black Hills. We went in early June, weather was perfect and the number of other tourists was not bad. Stayed in a cabin in Custer State Park, for $47 a night. And CSP is right in the middle of all the attractions. Great family vacay!

Just saw Despicable Me 2 (3D) with the family. Good show, 8 y.o. enjoyed as well as wife and I.
Saw The Heat with wife also, very funny, rated R for language.
Redboxed the latest Die Hard, have to agree with JJ. Worst of the series, yes even worse than part 2.

I'll chime in.
An older picture of my son in his autographed Zac Taylor jersey (and his "bankey").
And one of my many hobbies that I don't have enough time for. My brother and I got these new in the late '70s and recently restored.

WTH? Is this a troll or are you serious? They definitely had plenty that I would call an acquired taste but they were groundbreaking in many ways and had more than a few really good songs. The Doors.100% serious. I would rather have another root canal then to hear that organ solo from "Light My Fire." Cringing just thinking about it.
Out of curiosity, how old are you?
I can understand how somebody under 35 years old may not appreciate the Doors and the time period they represented. And for clarification, Light My Fire is close to my least favorite song of theirs. But Roadhouse Blues, Break on Through, Love Me Two Times, Five To One, When the Music's Over, Hello I Love You.....? c'mon now.
44. It has nothing to do with the time period. Cream is one of my favorite bands, about the same time right? It is just the music. I will give you Roadhouse Blues, that is tolerable. But the rest, ESPECIALLY Light My Fire, I will shut off a saw mid cut to change the channel on my garage radio when they play.
Dentist drill>Light My Fire organ solo...

Oh, and how about the Chili Pepers? Their 15 minutes should have ended after the sock concert thing.

Good call on Toto. Incredible group of studio musicians.

Does anybody remember a "Nebraska Navy" or a "Nebraska Admiral" or something like that? My grandfather had a plaque about him being in the Nebraska Navy.
Yes, I know about that, my parents are Admirals in the Nebraska Navy, they got their "commissions" because they donated the State Christmas tree last year. They hand it out for pretty much anything.
I read up about that a bit last fall. It turns out that the Queen of England is also an Admiral, among many others.

I am a fan of the SigSauer so I am a little biased, but there is a reason for that. Anyway, I cannot think of a finer handgun than the 226. There may be a couple of drawbacks with that choice though. First is price, any of the Sig classics (226, 228, 229, 220, 239, and to a lessor extent 225) will be very expensive. Secondly with the 226 specifically, it is full size. 229 or 228 is only slightly smaller. 239 is the subcompact and would be a good choice for concealed carry. If price is not a concern, get the Sig (any one) and you will be happy. If not, I will take it off your hands.
Edit to add: We just bought a Sig 2022 a couple of months ago. Nice gun, looks and handles like a Sig at half the price. It has a polymer frame instead of alloy like the classics, that and the trigger is not nearly as nice is the reason for half the price. If you have never spent any time with a 226 or other classic, the trigger thing will not matter to you. I gave the 2022 to the wife, I will keep my 229.

Can't argue with the F1.
Add to my previous post: F1, 911 Turbo, Bently Continental GT and to the classics; 69-70 Cougar Eliminator (available with the standard 351, 390 and 428, but also the G Code 302 Boss and the 429 Boss. Only two of the 429 models were made. Might be worth a few bucks today!)

Dinner, lunch and Supper need a little more explanation I think. Dinner refers to a large meal and can be either at Noon or in the evening. Most of the time during the week, I have lunch at noon and dinner or supper in the evening. However, if my mother invites us over for "dinner" on Sunday, then it usually means a large meal that will be served at noon after church. Lunch is usually a lighter meal consisting of either a quick sandwich or salad and is always at noon on mid day.
That's pretty good. It is much simpler how I remember it.
Dinner-evening meal
Lunch-noon meal
Supper-City person talk for dinner

My Dad's cousin used to say "...this noon."
"I talked to Steven this noon at dinner."
First job you had...What was it/Age/Pay

First actual paying, taxes out job: flipping burgers, 15, minimum wage ($3something), hated it.
Second actual paying, taxes out job: maintenance crew for State Park, 16, minimum, LOVED IT!
At this job, I learned that a 1957 Ford dump truck will lift the front tires about 2 feet off the ground if you dump the clutch with the hoist fully raised. Good times.
