  1. That's Al Pacino. I think it's from Any Given Sunday, but I haven't seen in in years so I'm not 100% sure.
  2. That. was. AWESOME. Although the NFL Films music near the end was kinda disconcerting...
  3. I'm not a huge fan of basketball, but if you give me those looks on a good madden/ncaa/fifa shell then I'm getting s PS3 just for that.
  4. Aside from the fact that being "drawn and quartered" includes hanging in the first place, there isn't anything left to hang afterwards.
  5. Being a metalhead I gotta say the AC/DC was the best part. But the refusal to do the macarena was awesome.
  6. Just go with the XBOX 360... Unless it keeps on going like it is. All style and sh#t gameplay. Yea. The titles for xbox really haven't been all that woo hoo. It's comical to me that Sony is getting to the dance almost a year late and a couple hundred dollars more expensive, though. Will there be enough sony fanboy's to make it worth it? That's a stupid question. There's more than enough.

  8. If you're going to buy a PS3, do not buy the 20gig version. It has neither wifi, memory card readers or HDMI . Unlike the cheaper XBOX 360 that just didn't have some of the extra stuff, the cheaper PS3 lacks some of the basic functionality.
  9. My God! I hope they didn't steal his...innocence!!! They can have mine.
  10. Well you're definately right about the OL. Though I don't remember them ever looking like a good, seasoned line in that game.
  11. I hope one day to hear it in a thousand languages. How great is that?!! How wonderful. If it should be sung in English, they should make a law stating it, and then tear down the Statue of Liberty (which should be done anyway) I'll bite. Why should the Statue of Liberty be torn down?
  12. I didn't realize it was that old when posting. But still news to me.
  13. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/draft06/news...tory?id=2405152 By Stacey Pressman ESPN.com How much trouble is a number worth? Reggie Bush, projected as the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft, thinks it's at least worth petitioning the league. "I want to see if I can keep No. 5," Bush told ESPN The Magazine on the set of a Subway commercial he was shooting in Los Angeles. The former USC running back and 2005 Heisman Trophy winner has been wearing that jersey number since high school. NFL rules, however, don't allow for running backs to take that number -- 33 years ago the league adopted a numbering system to make it easier for officials to differentiate players by position. Under the rule, quarterbacks, punters and placekickers wear numbers 1 through 19. Running backs and defensive backs are assigned 20 through 49, while wide receivers and tight ends are given numbers 80 through 89. Two years ago, due to the increasing amount of retired numbers and more wide receivers and tight ends coming into the league, the NFL allowed those position players to wear either 10-19 or 80-89. A number of wide receivers have been wearing lower-numbered jerseys since, among them Larry Fitzgerald of Arizona (11), Plaxico Burress of New York and Braylon Edwards of Cleveland (17), Randy Moss of Oakland (18) and Troy Williamson of Minnesota (19). Bush wants to push it one step further to stick with No. 5. "I think someone else was able to get their number changed, but even if they turn me down I think it's worth a try," Bush said. NFL spokesman Greg Aiello declined to comment on Bush's plan to petition the league, though history is working against him. In 2004, running back Edgerrin James talked to the NFL about letting him wearing No. 5, which he had worn in Pop Warner, high school and at the University of Miami, but he was reportedly rebuffed. Jersey numbers have turned into a big business. Players routinely have paid thousands of dollars for a jersey of their liking. There has even been a lawsuit -- two years ago, Ifeanyi Ohalete agreed to sell No. 26 to his new Washington Redskins teammate Clinton Portis for $40,000. But Ohalete, who was released from the team before the season, sued after Portis didn't pay him half of the fee. The two eventually reached a settlement worth $18,000. Bush has extra incentive to try to land No. 5. His Subway commercial, which debuted on Monday, encourages fans to "get inside No. 5" and features that number throughout the spot. If Bush could somehow convince the league to allow him to wear No. 5, he's in luck if he gets drafted by the Houston Texans. No player on the team currently wears that number. Said Bush: "If I have to pick a new number, I have no idea what it would be." ESPN.com senior writer Darren Rovell contributed to this story
  14. Unless I'm reading this incorrectly, she found it in the parking lot of the store in which it was stolen. That means that the person would have had to steal it, pry loose all 16 to 18 diamonds, and then drop it. I find that to be implausible... I would think that the thief would simply pocket it, leave, and pry the stones out at his leisure - and then toss the ring in the garbage. Something's not adding up with her story... If it is the case that it's the same store then you've got a good point. But the story doesn't say. The only details about where it was stolen originaly is "at a grocery store." While she found it at the " Supersaver store at 51st and Ames Avenue." So unless someone can find an article or anything about the original theft and it turns out it was stolen at the Supersaver at 51st and Ames I don't think it's very responsable to assume the womans guilt on that fact. edit: Yup, same place. Her story is thin, to say the least.
  15. That is more important, without a doubt. But they aren't mutually exclusive. You can ask whether it's wrong to sing it in a foreign language but I can just as easily ask why should they be singing our national anthem in something other than our national language.
  16. It's a pretty stupid ranking there when the team below Colorado, Mich State, only has 1 less ranking total but 23 more #1 rankings. Of course I hate the AP, so my opinion on anything done by them is a little biased.
  17. And, once again, Mich gets more credit than it deserves.
  18. I just saw the one next to that banner. "Aaron did it with class" That one's even better.
  19. Oh sure, I forget $12m purchases all the time.
  20. It's only been a day, I'm sure he'll get it done.
