So you are afraid of explaining why Trans Visibility conflicts with Easter in public.

Boy, if that doesn't tell the story.

Israel had near universal sympathy after the 10/7 attack.

They're doing everything they can to erase that.

Three British civilians were among the seven aid workers killed in last night's attack, World Central Kitchen has confirmed.

    1. Seven people working for food aid charity World Central Kitchen (WCK) have been killed in an Israeli strike in Gaza
    2. Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu says the convoy they were in was hit unintentionally
    3. "It happens in war... and we will do everything so that this thing does not happen again," he says
    4. Three British nationals were among those killed, along with Australian, Polish, Palestinian workers and a dual US-Canadian citizen
    5. Australia's PM has said he expects "full accountability" after Lalzawmi "Zomi" Frankcom was listed among the dead
    6. A Palestinian medical source told the BBC the workers had been wearing bullet-proof vests bearing the charity's logo
    7. The CEO of World Central Kitchen says it was an "unforgiveable attack" - the organisation is pausing its operations

Looks like we've taught them well

Why do you post Tweets without looking any of it up and/or sharing what you found?

It took me about 2 minutes to find the first thing is just made up bulls#!t. You can see in the graph the household # is higher. (And it’s supposed to be higher because it includes farm related jobs, while the other doesn’t).

Because they don't want to actually think. Just get the feels.

I dunno man...but it's hilarious they dog Jenner, on Trans Visibility Day, cuz Caitlin is conservative. Those same folks were spewing vitriol in the Easter vs Visibility day...lol

Or maybe it's that Jenner has a history of being a pull the ladder up after themselves kind of person, a complete hypocrite, and they literally killed somebody.

I totally get what you are saying but could that just be your area?  Like, maybe other areas are lower?  I have no idea.  I know Omaha is brutal.  If I was looking to buy a house right now in Omaha I would rather just join a Pro-Pally group instead.

It was in a nice area where you get the most bang for your buck around here. The Detroit metro is crazy. It spans the whole gambit of good value (or cheap as hell in the hood) to outrageous. It's just that the good value means you're in the boonies with a long commute to work and nothing fun to do nearby.

  6. There's no way prices are down 20%. Maybe 5%, but I'm still seeing real s#!t holes selling for absurd amounts. Walked into an open house that was literally the worst we've seen so far. Everything was trashed: appliances, kitchen cabinets cracked/chipped/pealing loors, walls, window sills rotted and pealing, outside doors were gaping to the frame, epoxy garage floor was a mess... And the place was only 8 years old. They wanted like 7% less than what market would be for that house in decent shape. You basically need to take that whole place down to the dry wall and subfloor, and even then probably the studs in some spots, but it's pending an offer which I'm positive will be close to asking.

For most of my life I never understood why Easter floated around so much. Not only different weeks, but sometimes different months. Then I found out from one of my kid's picture books. Easter is the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Spring Equinox. Turns out it has much more to do with existing pagan rituals than it does Christianity.

In other news, we just hid Easter eggs for our 20 year old son home for Spring Break. They are plastic and filled with money. Felt good. I like Easter.

Next you're going to tell me some guy named Hey-Zues wasn't actually born on Christmas Day.

Yeah, I guess I expressed my frustration with the proclamation because of which voters it could potentially alienate but my real frustration is with a country that advertises liberty and justice for all but a rather large subset of the people just don’t f#&%ing get it.

    It's a wonderful club isn't it?

I don’t want a day of recognition. I just want everyone to pull their head out of their a$$ and realize we are all equal and deserve to be treated with respect. Amazing that it is spelled out so clearly in the Constitution yet it is a daily chore continuing to detail who all that entails.

Right... Which is why they made this proclamation.

I feel marginalized and excluded. I didn’t see any heterosexual or cisgender days on that laundry list of special days.

    And here’s some:Fire:

As long as we regularly highlight our differences, we will struggle to have true equality. There are special days and awards for everything except for the predominant majority demographics. Is it really amazing that people in the predominant majority groups are sort of fed up? I realize some minority groups have been marginalized but I’m not convinced constantly pointing out every difference is the best way for everyone to be truly treated as equals.

Maybe when you have churches, governments, and citizens actively railing against being a cis gender male we can have a day of recognition.

In a perfect world, sure we would celebrate everyone equally and live happily ever after, but that's not where we live...

    You're really trying hard today.

Am I? You're the one that keeps posting this stuff. I didn't post some rage bait about an LGBTQ day or bring up Pontius Pilate.

    Why not both :dunno

Idk... You're the one that seems triggered by a reoccurring day that just happens to fall on Easter Sunday this year. And Pilate killed Jews all the time, should we be doing that then since we shouldn't have a day of recognition?

The issue for me is not the “issue” itself. WWJD or what should actual Christians do isn’t the issue.

My focus is defeating orange man bad and, imo, this edict doesn’t help that cause. There are hard left and hard right groups that won’t be swayed. But there has to be a rather large group in the middle that can still be influenced. I believe many in that group are not opposed to equal and fair treatment of the LGBTQ community BUT are at the same time tired of having the issue shoved in their face. I’d rather those people vote for Biden than Trump. Let the Rs spew their messages of hate to determine which side people align with. IMO it’s not an issue that requires an opposite message to win the issue. Dems can simply say we support inclusion and let the Rs shoot themselves in the foot.

    Anyhow, that’s my two cents.

I kinda of figured that was your position, but I think anyone who could be "swayed" by this was a lost cause to begin with.

I don't think it's so much a message of opposition as it is a message of inclusion. It let's people who fall into that category know that we see you and respect you for who you are as a human being. That can mean a lot to a group who has been treated as sub human a long, long time.

This type of s#!t is what I don’t like about dems. They can be so tone deaf at times. Great, raise awareness for the trans community, but don’t designate it for one of the holiest days of the year just to poke the bear. Utter stupidity on their part imo.

You know Easter is on a different day every year, right, and that Jesus was cool with eunuchs and whores?

I don't think there's any question who the first game starter is as long as he gets the playbook down. Raiola is consistent and effortless.
