  1. Nameless and eric you guys seem to know the most on these recruits, so if you had to give a percentage of ricky qualifying, what would it be. i really hope he dosn't have to go the juco route, cuz i think we could definately use him next year. I also expect if he is on the borderline, that the coaches will be all over his tail to get his grades up, i just hope its not to late for him to turn it around.
  2. Well it looks like we picked up commit number 21 and a huge one with that. I was hoping he would sign. no story up yet, but he is listed as a commit on rivals sight. great day.
  3. What do you guys think of the chances of green or jackson seeing any time in the bowl if they do switch positions. they would have about 3 weeks, do you feel this is enough time to learn the position and get some time, or more than likely will they not see the field this year.
  4. Nameless, great info. I'm really excited about the d-backs you believe we will be in, however, I thought mouton pretty much eliminated us and from everything ive heard it sounds like usc or lsu. Are these three d-backs guys you hope are coming or guys you actually believe we lead on right now and will get. Thanks again for all your info, its great to read.
  5. I know charles deas has us listed high, and i was wondering if we should be thrilled if he commits to us. I have heard that hes had grade problems and may be like a jerrell poe. anybody know the chances that if he does commit he will make it hear or is it almost a guarantee that hes juco bound.
  6. eric, i agree with former, i thought we were leading for thenarse and davis, and mouton still had us in his favorites. why do you think things have changed?
  7. I know were in on some highly touted safties like thenarse, mouton, davis, and now verdell. of this group how many do you feel we will end up with. i believe a lot of times once a high prospect commits it deters others from doing so. with that in mind of the 4 here who most likely will commit and will the commit from one of these guys scare the others off. another question is who out of the bunch for those of you that have seen video is likely to play immediately. i think we definately need an upgrade at safety so hopefully we can land one of these guys.
  8. Nameless, I think it is a great idea. I would definately watch and I know many others would as well, especially if their is recruiting info. I love hearing who we have a good chance with etc. I really think you should try to push for it because I think it would be great. I also love the info you provide here on the site as well. Thanks and good luck getting it going. Let us know when you here something back whether it works or not and what times it will be on. Good Luck
  9. Hootin thanks for the update, have you heard about any of the other recruits and what they thought about the atmosphere. what do u think our chances of down the road getting a commit from wallace and lewis. I like both of them extremely well and think they would be great pickups.
  10. Who gets the nod to go to the big XII championship game if nebraska wins out and thats a big if, and colorado beats missouri. if all three of us have the same conf record and miss beat us, while col beat miss, and we beat colorado, what is the tie breaker. I know most likely this probably won't happen, but i was just curious if anybody knows what they look at next.
  11. Nate I know nobody will want to miss it, but it's hard to get these kids to fly in and make it to the game by 11. most of these kids have friday night games. i'm wondering if anybody has an idea of which of these kids will be able to make it and which won't. i would love for all of them to make it, but i just don't see that happening.
  12. I know the weekend of the oklahoma game was suppose to be one of our biggest recruiting weekends. How many of the current visitors do u suspect won't be able to make it due to the early game. It would be very disappointing if many of those high profile atheletes don't get to experience a game type atmosphere especially one such as the oklahoma game would bring.
  13. I haven't seen any info on him. For those of you who have, do you think he looks like octavien. I think octavien in the little bit i seen him this year would have been out best linebacker, he was all over the ball. I'm wondering if we can expect similar things from him, or will he be more similiar to dontrell moore and maybe not make an immediate impact. is he ready for B12 football.
  14. Sounds like he committed to BC. This is a really big loss, because we are in need of a tight end who could stretch the field and he seemed to be a tight end that could do that.
  15. I was wondering if anybody has heard anything on Butch Lewis. I was able to watch some video of his and I have never seen anybody domintae the way he was able to. Almost every play he would pancake his man. I know we are in the running, but i was wondering if anybody knows if we actually have a decent chance or if he's favoring someone else.
  16. Eric, I really enjoy reading your posts on recruits, it seems like you have valid information. Early on in the process you give the percentage that you believe a recruit will join the huskers, i was wondering if it would be possible if you could update their chances of commiting after visits or after some time has passed. thanks
  17. I was wondering why out of the 17 newcommers Leon Jackson did not get in. I figured he was probably one of the most athletic players on the team. Not to take anything away from Tiedke but shouldn't Leon be able to get on the field sometime. Do u believe maybe hes not picking up the schemes or has somebody heard anything else. Would love to see him play hopefully he can get in some this weekend.
  18. HE PLANS ON PLAYING THO DOESN'T HE.
  19. its been known for sometime that keith eloi will probably be heading to lincoln. hes the nephew of steve octavien and it's reported on rivals hes headed to lincoln. does anybody know if he still has one year left of juco or has seen any video of him. he sounds pretty good and i believe was a juco all american last year with 79 receptions for 1000 yds.
  20. Norvell commented on the coaches looking at a couple guys who could play both ways. One that would be obvious would be bowman. Who else may get a look at playing both ways for us.
  21. its been reported grixby and bowman are on the left side, while tierre has the number one spot over wilson on the right. i guess one side has more open field to cover while the other corner spot has the sideline to work with. im guessing grixby and bowman are on the left side because they are probably better closers in space and are thus on the same side. i would hope our best two corners r on the field at the same time.
  22. i was reading in the paper today that grixby has the #1 spot in front of bowman. I believe a man with bowmans athleticism needs to be on the field as much as possible. do u guys think that grixby will remain his lock on the number one spot, and who do u think wins the other side.
  23. Nameless sounds like a great cd and would be great to have one. i don't know if there is a fair way to give them out other than maybe first come first serve.
  24. Cosgrove has said for sometime that the best 11 will play. what if ruud, octavien, and bradley are the best three linebackers. whose more suited to play middle ruud or octavien and will playing middle diminish their capabilities. just wondering what people think, does cosgrove move octavien or ruud to middle if nobody jumps at the middle spot. i also heard octavien talk about newcomers that stand out to him and the only linebacker mentioned was covey. i originally thought he would prolly redshirt, is there a chance he will get some pt and at what position.
  25. Blackshirt i will be movin to omaha and am all 4 a watch party during the season. keep me updated.
