  1. Ummm there's one little problem with your theory. You need to W A T C H the Texas game before perceive that our offense is not good. Texas did NOT keep us out of the endzone, our receivers did. If our receiver catch just 4 passes, our 13 turns into 41, on a dime, maybe take away the Hagg return we have 34, but then again, we catch balls and the running game probably opens up so maybe throw the 7 back on. Point being, the Texas and SDSU offensive performances are pure fluke and poor execution. Did we score a lot on poor defenses? well yeah, isnt that what good teams are supposed to do to inferior opposition. That (the bold) and poor play calling. Both were addressed last week. Now NU justs need to "overcome" the home field advantage.
  2. He became the first Husker in history to pass for 300 yards and rush for 100 yards in the same game. Link 323 passing 112 rushing
  3. The 435 combined pass & rushing yards by Martinez is the 3rd highest total in team history.

  4. Seemingly Nebraska had every advantage and yet. And that right there is why I don't bet. Congrats to Texas.
  5. Reasons for optimism: Still plenty of time They are throwing TX is wearing down (maybe) D has been sound And number 1...Bo is pissed
  6. Play calling and the fact that I wasn't wearing red.
  7. Even with a couple of drops... It is all play calling, play calling, play calling.
  8. Somebody needs to let Bo know that Texas has run the ball 25 times and has two completions...
  9. I'm good with three and out. Did you see that read? Nice!
  10. Play action until they stop looking for the run.
  11. They are only looking for the run - throw the damn ball.
  12. The play calling has been crap - both sides of the ball.
  13. Did T-Magic have a reason to throw the ball more than seven times against KState? Let me see here... Nebraska was only 6/10 for 136 yards passing. KSU was 19/27 for...wait for it...135 yards passing. Heh. And oh by the way. UCLA had 27 yards passing. It gets better - in the first half UCLA had 2 completions for 5 total yards. A 1 yard TD pass and a 4 yard completion on 2nd & 17. If you're worried about the game (and really, really bored) - check out the play by play for the Texas-UCLA game that was in Austin. I realize this doesn't mean much for Saturday but... There are good reasons Game Day went to Madison.
