Any games you will be watching other than the Huskers? I will be a die hard Boise St fan as I just moved from GA and loathe the "sea of red" impersonators at Athens. -no lie heard that last year as a broadcaster was covering the game. and almost choked on my dinner that night. just look at that sea of red they said I almost died!

Hack I appreciate you comments and like it. Although all the ATTNs could get confusing that is why I suggest that specific boards (which are sub forums) be marked as such for members in that local area to setup watch parties, meets, local events. I think with the nationwide deal it is no different than posting in the BRL which is harder to decipher. I am in no way a admin or a mod on this board and am not attacking your opinion only trying to explain mine further so that you can see where I am coming from. You dont have to agree. cliff notes: Having a "one stop" spot for local events in your community would benefit people more than having to look for it in one large forum, in my opinion.

I dont see any fall off. I realize that Husker fans are more reserved and not talking of Natl Titles but to not be excited about the Huskers coming out on the field is absurd. I make this statement now in total sobriety. If the Huskers went 0-11 I would still be excited the next year. I would hope for a new coach but I would be excited cause if there is one thing that the Huskers have over most teams is extreme fan loyalty. We are not as cocky as we once were but that will make winning again that much sweeter. We forgot our roots lost site of the prize and refused to evolve with football. Now we are making up for that and my only hope is we do not become like the NDs of the world. A once domiant team with a name and no wins. I hope that is not in our future and I have to believe it is not. Big Red thru and thru til' I die Go Huskers! (yep my excitement is gone)

the depth chart does not matter IMO, I mean in all reality the Maine game will determine it as we see how each string does. If you dont think some positions will have a 3rd string guy in during that game then your wrong. just wait be patient it isnt a big deal, its not like you or I can change it when it does appear. the best man will win the spot. the players know the coaches know and surprise we get to find out in less than 7 days

Just kidding I need no money just keep up the great Mgmt, and keep the kiddos off the board. Thats payment enough. It is not my board but if "we" start off small where there are tons of fans i think it will be more effective then setting up blanket regions some of which dont have enough fans to get their use. Some states I believe will show immediate promise, a poll will tell for sure though... NE - Duh this one will be easy to fill with events CO- Still pretty easy as I notice a bunch already on here and more to come (Husker fans are all over the place in the Springs) TX CA you get it. But if you do it per request of say a minimum of 10-20 people then it should only grow. Again this is not to exclude but to bring a closer community in those regions.

Who here from Colorado would like a Area on the Board dedicated to just Coloradians? This would be an area where we could post up local watch parties, better than Huskerpedia...haha and local meets/events. Thanks Blackshirt, Thats what I was saying that we start with only a few then as people from different regions see them and get jealous, hopefully they get some locals to join and make it interesting. I know that there will be people outside the US too. Such as desert peeps in Iraq and Europe people I am sure. I will start a poll because I have seen many in CO posting here. As I meet true NU fans I will send them this way cause this is the best board I have been on for Huskers so far. BTW, I will take a money order for my ideas...

Just a suggestion Now. Um, I have seen some boards (not Husker boards) add Regions in for people in certain areas to keep a handle on local get togethers and such. It would be hard to do this in the main forum as other people from different regions chime in and "poof" a meaniful thread is derailed into a chaotic cyber mess. I know this may sound selfish but really it is meant for the best. Only add the regions when a group of people petition for Space. Well, I for one petition for CO! I know there are tons of fans on here from there and this will give us a chance to host events close to home and keep all the Colorado Huskers informed. If anyone agrees please chime in. I really think it is a great idea.

4 set cant be done but I understand what you are saying man. We got 4 great backs maybe more...and you want them all getting game time. Believe me they will and it is going to be great this year with all the talented healthy RBs we have. They will all get a shot and make our rushing game a force to be reckonded with. Pinkel is the only one in trouble this year. Billy C will get 4 to 5 years to show progress, by that I mean 11-1, BCS bowls by year 4 or 5. I expect sooner maybe year 3 at the earliest. 2007.
