with trump i can't see any way it is on the level.....but....what if it is on the level and it finds a ton of fraud....and all for trump. enough to change the election? i can picture trump in the white house reacting to that now....remember the horse in animal house?

It will be manned by his cronies. It isn't intended to find fraud for Trump, so it won't. People should be taking this sh#t far more seriosuly than they are. I don't think people realize how fast we could lose our freedoms. I'm actually worried someone more competent than Trump is seeing this and realizing just how easy it would be.

And while I do think Trump is a giant a-hole, I tend to think this stuff isn't his idea. I think people way more devious than him are good at talking to him. I think he is easily played. All they have to say is something about the popular vote and proving he won and he would be on board with anything, no matter how unconstitutional or un-American or even evil it is.

i agree. someone is setting trump up for the fall when trump goes after consolidating much of the power in DC in their camp his successor will be set up well.

    Hypocrites

The Dems being hypocrites is just par for the course. Doesn't change that Trump's explanation for firing Comey is laughable, and that this looks like Trump is trying to derail an investigation into him and/or his team.

i wonder what "hypocritical" stuff the repubs would have said if obama fired comey when he was investigating the clinton e-mails? same guy getting fired....for the same reasons given this time....but a year earlier.

  4.

it would be pence.....not sure he is much more aligned with me...but he does seem to be at least capable of making a political move without coming across as a complete a-hole. hopefully he kicks bannon out along with trump if he gets there.

Pence was part of the campaign as his VP. If Trump goes down, there is a chance Pence knew what was going on and he would go down too.

    That leaves Ryan as President.

ryan might be as bad as trump

  5. This is bizarro-land stuff. Salter was an aide for John McCain and former McCain speechwriter. He's Republican through-and-through.

trump might just destroy the republican party the way he is going. maybe we can hope he just manages to destroy the extremism that has engulfed it lately.

  6. Personally, I'm just fine without that extra 180,000 tons of methane in the air. It baffles me why Republicans are so anti-environment, to the point where they are still, as a party, climate change deniers.

Methane is a bad greenhouse gas. This is a good thing.

i wonder how much methane taco bell helps generate?

  7. Here's an updated list of the people Trump has fired who have relationships to the Russia Scandal.

    James Comey - Director, FBI

    Fired 5/9/17

Comey had just requested greater resources to expand the investigation. Trump's excuse, which nobody believes, is that he "lost confidence" in Comey over several months, expressly because of how Comey handled the Clinton issues.

Preet Bahara - New York Federal Prosecutor

    Fired 3/11/17

Bahara was a holdover from the Obama administration. He had jurisdiction over, among other things, Trump Tower. He was urged on 3/8/17, three days before his termination, to investigate foreign payments to Trump.

Michael Flynn - National Security Adviser

    Fired 2/14/17

Flynn was fired after the Washington Post broke the news of his foreign ties. The firing came 18 days after the White House was briefed about Flynn being compromised by Sally Yates, the Acting Attorney General.

Sally Yates - Acting Attorney General

    Fired 1/31/17

Yates was fired for questioning the legality of Trump's Muslim Ban. Her termination came four days after briefing the White House about Michael Flynn's ties to Russia.

So, four people under whose jurisdiction Trump would fall, over whom he had little influence, and who were all either looking in to Trump's Russian ties or Trump associates' Russian ties. The fifth was a man whom Trump appointed and didn't want to fire, but who was outed as a foreign agent by the press.

yeah...anyone and everyone who is in a position to and willing to stand up to him is being replaced by trumps stooges.
