It'sNotAFakeID putting a strangle-hold on the contest. In first place by nearly 40 points with two extra teams on second-place NUance and over 100 points clear and one extra team of third. Unless Kansas, Arizona, UCLA and Wisconsin make quick exits, this might be over.

So, now that this happened, is it really that good for Democrats? I think slowing down the loss of coverage is good for the people who need it, but politically for the Democrats, I don't know.

 

If Obamacare fails, can't the Republicans just blame the whole thing on Democrats refusing to compromise? It's not like (many of) their voters see anything but Fox News. They're not going to suddenly think, "we're saved!"

 

On the otherhand if this bill had passed and then was terrible, it would have been worse for the Republicans.

all the republicans had to do was keep fewer than 21 pubs from jumping ship to get trumpcare. they failed to keep them. they didn't need any democrats and didn't even try to work with the democrats. now trump is calling them out. whatever. the elephant footprints are all over healthcare now so lets see where they lead.

Say this stuff if really bad and Trump gets impeached or is forced out before getting impeached. Pence would be next in line. Since he has been with the Trump campaign since the summer, he has to know that some of this stuff has been going on, right? Can we say with certainty that he is clean too? Could he get the boot too? Would then we be looking at President Ryan?

fwiw...i hope trumph stays a full 4 years and the country and voters get to see how much damage he and his alt right administration has caused to the people of this country. maybe we will be a more responsible electorate next time.
