  1. Gee, Im not sure. Maybe I gotten that from ones that I have heard on radio, that I have read in the papers, that I have witnessed on TV, or from people former players and others who have some knowledge of the program that I have personally talked to.

Have you heard the support of the staff? Probably not since you are SO against what is going on with the program right now, you fail to even realize that is going up. I am sure that when they get into a BCS game or NC game you will be right there supporting saying they were the best thing to happen to NU.

No matter what the topic of a thread is, you ALWAYS find a way to get your jabs in and say how much you hate BC....what a joke!!

  2. You know the NCAA has a lot of strict recruiting rules, and some of them are goofy. But here is a case where they should step in and try to stop this. All schools, including NU, should be held accountable for spreading dirt. Yes, we have to consider the possibility that a NU coach or two has said something negative sometime or another. Certainly that may not be true, and I hope it isn't, but you can't rule it out 100 percent. If industries like insurance don't allow agents spreading dirt about other insurance agents, why not prohibit this practice in college football recruiting.

What can you do? This is something that has gone on for years and won't stop anytime soon. It is crap that teams have to resort to this kind of tactic to get a 17 year old kid to play football at their school. It does not say much about the character of the school or the staff at all.

After being recruited myself, it was the worst time of my life. Coaches are like little kids making a wish list for Christmas and will do ANYTHING to get what they want. The kids just have to be able to see through all of the BS and choose. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

I find it being a huge compliment that other coaches are getting scared of NU coming back and taking their top recruits.....GO BILLY C!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. I know that Richie did some pretty stupid things, but we all remember LP. He was a cancer on the team and TO kept him on board and look what happened. Richie was a manchild out on the field and I would put him on my team. He would have helped the line out early on when they were struggling. GO RICHIE!!!!!!

We can also play the "what if" game for days, weeks, months, years, etc...I am extremely happy with the season. I know it isn't what we all wanted for sure, but it is progress (even though some don't think so) and cannot wait until next year....or for the BOWL this year!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. It is nice to see a club who has class when you are playing against the bottom of the cellar when it comes to class. They shouldn't even be allowed to compete for the Big 12 championship....on the other, I hope that Texas just takes it to them again in front of a national tv audience. It also shows that Barnett has no control over his team and that he is a JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. As we saw in the NC game against Miami....if you can't strike quick, it is all over with. IMO, the option is one of the best offenses to run, but you have to find that medium so you have the ability to strike quick down the field. If we could get an offense like last year's Utah team and this year's Florida team, it would be really fun to watch the games.

  6. Good call Kramer....I think BC needs to stick with Taylor since he has been through some tough times already. I do think that Beck should a couple of series each quarter so he gets some experience at different aspects of the game (i.e. not just a blow out either way). Anyone can look like an All-Star when the game is no longer in reach and no one really cares.

  7. This is so ridiculous. I agree that there are too many topics that involve complaining. Even if the topic has nothing to do with stating your opinion of how bad you think BC and "Pud" are, some people make an effort to turn it into an argument. It is CRAP.........GROW UP and enjoy the games and teams!!!

  8. Too many people are so use to success that when BC came in and laid an egg last year is not doing much better this year everyone is asking for his head. As frustrating as the past two years have been for me, I feel that things will start to happen for the better. Where are Solich's players you ask? They were/are the wrong players for the system. If I came to NU to run the option, why in the hell would I stay and run the WCO? I think it is pretty obvious.

Don't get me wrong BC did not make very good choices for his remarks and actions with OU the last two years. That is the way it goes....GET OVER IT!!!

I am willing to bet a lot of money that when the team was 4-0, there was not as many people asking for him to be fired. Now that they are struggling, it is easy for some of you to bash him and the program. You should be ashamed of yourselves and there is no way you can call yourself a true fan when you are jumping on and off of the wagon like you are trying to get your exercise for the week.

Be a fan and stick with the team during the good times and the bad!

  9. Does anyone else think that Sharpe is one of the dumbest people that give their thoughts on the NFL. If I could understand 5 words that come out of his mouth maybe he is making sense....I doubt it. He drives me crazy and I don't even want to watch the pregame and postgame reports on CBS.

  10. With kickers at any level it is a love/hate relationship. When you have a kicker who wins a game for you, he is the best player and the team is so lucky to have them. On the other hand, you have a kicker who misses a game winning field goal he is the worst player and there is no reason to have kickers on the team. I agree with previous posts and how it makes the game interesting, especially when it comes down to the wire. I don't envy an of the kickers who have to come into the game with 2 seconds left and kick a 50 yard field goal, let alone an extra point to go ahead.

  11. Holding happens on every single play, but when you can see that the guy is unable to change directions to make a play, you HAVE to call it. It looked pretty ridiculous on Saturday's game on certain plays.
