I just watched some of those games this past weekend and I am always amazed what they did to teams. It didn't matter what unit was in there...it was pure domination.

IMO it is very attainable. The momentum they will build will help them when they get into the tougher part of their schedule. I hope they stick it to TTech after what happened last year.

Maybe flyfishing is a high school sport in Montana....heck some states have rodeo as a high school sport.

Good point Eric the Red! Having the "right" players in an offense if much more important than having a few extremely skilled players.

He may be an idiot, but look at how many of the draft picks in the earlier rounds held out to see what the players around them got offered. It is all just a selfish circle that will continue to get worse no matter what player it is. Pretty soon the non-drafted free agents are going to be holding out for more money.

RI has the skills to be an excellent center in the NFL, he just has to get it together.....I see it happening.

Doane is NAIA and they play in the GPAC....schools from Nebraska, South Dakota, and Iowa.

I am sure when he takes that walk out onto the field and sees the Sea of Red going nuts he will wish he never made the trip. I think the whole team may be in a for big surprise. It will be good for their program to have the luxury of playing in a stadium that has more than a high school crowd watching. Good Luck buddy!

Even though I was extremely disappointed with the outcome of the season last year, I believe he will get the athletes he needs to run the offense and get NU back to where it once was for so long. I can't imagine how difficult it was last year to piece together players to run the WCO when they were there to run the option offense...better him then me. I hope they get more than 6 wins and a bowl bid this year!!!

I don't know how much you guys have talked about this since I am pretty new to the board. I was just wondering what some of your opinions are about Tommie being a head coach. What type of offense do you think he will bring to Doane?

I played against a number of these schools when I played in college and it is a pretty tough league....especially when you get to the playoffs and play schools from Oklahoma.

Also, I know Tommie isn't the most social person in the world so do you think he will be fan friendly when his NU fans come asking for autographs? And the media bringing up his glory days?
