Actually this isn't true it's been speculated that Frost didn't come here because we didn't offer him the OC job. Beck becoming the OC has been decided along time ago possibly all the way back in 08'. Beck is a great hire and a guy who deserves a chance.

Whats with all the Beck hate? It's a great hire IMO sure he's never been an OC but he's more than deserving everywhere he's coached he's done a great job. I would love nothing more than to see him turn Martinez into Meir of course thats fantasy at this point. I'd rather not second guess the hire getting rid of Watson is great and like I said Beck seems qualified. I'd rather focus on what kind of offense we'll run obviously a spread but can we go to 3 or 4 WR sets like Ku's offense back in 07?

We got all these good recruits and are only ranked 15th? WTF? It's a little disappointing looking at teams who win the BCS usually have a top 5 recruiting class.

Not even close. Both Taylor and Nebraska could benefit from a move to WR. IMO Martinez is a lot faster than Kerry Meier and a better QB however Meir wouldn't have been drafted had he stayed at QB and neither will Martinez. If Barnes can throw the ball he could win the starting job. I'd rather have Martinez at WR than the bench.

He ran an excellent route he has amazing speed and is a great athlete. I think he's a project at QB given his throwing motion and lack of overall ability throwing the football. I know i'll take a lot of heat for this but Nebraska doesn't have any playmakers at WR besides Kyler Reed whos more of a tight end. If Carnes is a better passer he should get the nod next year and move Taylor to WR. I also have concerns about Taylors durability him not being a big guy and the Big 10 is a physical league we saw this with Denard Robinson.

I'm gonna go ahead and say Green is coming to Nebraska. The longer he waited the less likely it was but since he is going to commit earlier I think it's obvious he's coming to Nebraska. Remember he made this announcement as Texas began to fade and the other night his Facebook said Taylor Martinez for Heisman, which tells me he likes what he sees on offense.
