It took me forever to go through every restaurant here haha..but it was worth it I know on some restaurants that I chose to get emails from like Black Angus, I got an offer by email to get one free steak with a purchase of additional entre of greater or equal value for my birthday. Some restuarant offers for email may want to know your birthday and anniversary..it is worth filling that out because from my experience...I got a free offer or a coupon. I just posted the links for Lincoln and Omaha..explained below how to get them from other cities and states you live in ok? You can also read reviews of restaurants of your choice. It costs to go out and eat plus a tip for the server who waits on you and I figure if I can save a dollar or more, it is worth it. 12. I am so sorry about what you went through...that had to be so hard on you...hugggsss to you. Some members in here may have judged me as a bad mom for loosing custody of my kids..and if they haven't, then I apologize. It used to be that the mother had to be a really bad mom to lose custody of their kids..I was not a BAD mom! My ex was drinking buddies with the judge and they were close friends..it was a very small town we lived in. What done is done and I know in my heart that I did everything possible. Hopefully some day as they get older...they will want to have contact with me..we will see. A big warning to all women though...if any woman in here or any woman that reads this board think that they can't lose custody of their kids no matter how good a mom you are..you better think twice about divorce! I went through alot of BS and I lost custody!

  14. Thank you for the prayers:) It is much appreciated...you will never know how much:) I am a strong believer in prayer:) God Bless You:)
  15. Believe me...I have called and called and they don't want to talk to me..I took taxi cabs to buy them presents for their birthday etc when I lived in Omaha. I never received a thank you card or a phone call...I haven't received a mothers day card in years..I have given up and the tears I have cried could flood the United States. I always made sure they were fed good...had nice clothes and went to all their school activities when I wasn't working, let them have friends over..xmas presents, etc. I have given up and all I do now is pray to the good lord about it. I worked alot of hours..split shifts so I could buy them nice clothes, etc. Sometimes my ex would lock the door when I got home after working split shitfts late at night and it was up to me to pay alot of the bills! That is just one thing he did and there are alot more things that he did to me but I won't talk about it in here. I won't reduce to his level of putting him down to the kids like he does putting me down to the kids!

  18. Well...I don't have a recent picture of myself, but, when I do get one..will post it. Someone mentioned awhile back about me posting one..if noone cares to look at it....that is fine by me. I do have a picture of my daughter. People tell me we look alot alike..but..I think she is much prettier:) My hair is longer and not as blonde... and I am tall. My daughter is the blonde on the far left. I found her picture on the web. I said once that my famiy won't talk to me..they blame me for divorcing their dad...they just don't know about all the BS I went through. I am trying so hard to let it all go..but..it is hard. I do love my family and all I can do is pray about it. Anyway..thought I would share it with you.

  20. Men Are Just Happier People NICKNAMES· If Laura, Kate and Sarah go out for lunch, they will call each other Laura, Kate and Sarah.· If Mike, Dave and Vinnie go out, they will affectionately refer to each other as Fat Boy and Bonehead. EATING OUT· When the bill arrives, Mike, Dave and Vinnie will each throw in $20, even though it's only for $32.50. None of them will have anything smaller and none will actually admit they want change back.· When the girls get their bill, out come the pocket calculators. MONEY· A man will pay $2 for a $1 item he needs.· A woman will pay $1 for a $2 item that she doesn't need but it's on sale. BATHROOMS· A man has six items in his bathroom: toothbrush and toothpaste, shaving cream, razor, a bar of soap, and a towel.· The average number of items in the typical woman's bathroom is 337. A man would not be able to identify more than 20 of these items. ARGUMENTS· A woman has the last word in any argument.· Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument. FUTURE· A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband.· A man never worries about the future until he gets a wife. SUCCESS· A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend.· A successful woman is one who can find such a man. MARRIAGE· A woman marries a man expecting he will change, but he doesn't.· A man marries a woman expecting that she won't change, but she does. DRESSING UP· A woman will dress up to go shopping, water the plants, empty the trash, answer the phone, read a book, and get the mail.· A man will dress up for weddings and funerals. OFFSPRING· Ah, children. A woman knows all about her children. She knows about dentist appointments and romances, best friends, favorite foods, secret fears and hopes and dreams.· A man is vaguely aware of some short people living in the house. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY - A married man should forget his mistakes. There's no use in two people remembering the same thing! SO, send this to the women who have a sense of humor and who can handle it .... and to the men who will enjoy reading it.
  21. Thanks T_O_Bull for wanting to have a beer with me:) Was wondering if us gals were going to be welcomed:) We can keep up drinking with you men in here??? I will buy us a round or 10:) Oh..and I will chip in some appetizers for us to munch on ok? Would love to have a beer with anyone in here.
  22. I tried my best to slice pototoes like we get at a restaurant we go to- they are sliced so thin. I asked the waitress how they got the potatoes sliced so thin and she said by hand. I had to keep from laughing because believe me..I tried to slice them by hand using a sharp knive and I could never get them sliced that thin. I grated cheese using a grater like you posted above and I hated doing that too, and as far as garlic is concerned...I dreaded mincing it by hand. I use garlic alot in my cooking. I use my food processor for alot of things. Just to name a few things-I experimented making my own salsa and I tried alot of different recipes and I wasn't satified with the outcome. One night we were eating out and again I asked the waitress how they made the salsa and she gave me somewhat of an idea how they did it, but, I knew I could fiddle with it and make it better. So I added our own preferance to it and some other ingredients that I thought would be good in it and after alot of work, I came up with the best salsa ever-in our opinion anyway:) I just got the food processor a few days ago and I have already put it to alot of work. We eat alot of salad and it makes it alot easier to make. I know..salad isn't hard to make...but..I am picky when it comes to salad too. I like cucumbers sliced thin..cheese grated just right, etc. It has made my cooking alot easier. Presentation of food is just as important to me as it tastes. They had another food processor on amazon that was a cuisinart also. It had different size of bowls..but..it was more expensive and I didn't think I would need to have different size bowls..one bowl is all I need. I can always order more accessories if I need to, but, I don't think I will have to. I am very happy with what came with it. You can do so many things with this food processor and it is my best friend in the kitchen:) Scalloped potatoes is a breeze to make now also. I am happy for you that you are pleased with your processor. I had a cheaper processor, but, it broke and it wasn't way as good as this one is.
  23. If anyone is looking for a great food processor, I hightly recommend this one. We like pototoes sliced thin and it slices them thin and it grates cheees etc. great:) You have to have everything lined up right though or it won't work. I waited a long time to buy a food processor and I did alot of searching for one over the internet and read alot of reviews on them. Just thought I would tell you all in case your wife or whoever is looking for a great one to buy. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000645TW/ref=s9_simh_gw_p79_d1_i2?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=0QTQWZ36J7PVZ41G4TG6&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470938631&pf_rd_i=507846
