that reminds me of everyone saying pretty much the same thing against KSU the last game. not sure what to make of that. I think it means the worst is still yet to come. Maybe Caleb Walker decides to be a total no show in that one. He played the best tonight, and hardly seemed to be on the floor when it mattered

Does Jorge even know the old "up and under" post move. Or how about the ole "crap, it ain't there, maybe I should kick it back out and try to repost and perhaps get better positioning" move. That one has a tendency to work and even gives other guys a chance to score, especially when they double team ya.

I agree with this. I was one of the few on all the "bubble" threads that was saying it was gonna take more than winning three of the last four and a tourney game. I love Nebrasketball, but am a much bigger realist. It was nice to see so many getting jacked, but deep down SO MANY of us knew a performance like tonight was bound to happen. It is just what happens next in this roullette wheel that is Nebrasketball. We may need to have someone keep a set of eyes on backer tonight, he may try to hurt himself or his liver after that performance. By the way doesn't Jack Daniels taste great straight after three JD and Cokes.

My personal favorite Diaz moments are the jump hooks that he expects to make jumping 4 inches off the ground and start from behind the back board. You are not on the island anymore Jorge, people here are just as tall and way better athletes. More to come.....

Andre at least works for boards... do you mean ubel? I pretty much mean all of our big men. Andre is the best rebounder for our big men but he is still terrible. At 6'11 310 lbs. you need to get at least AT LEAST 8 rpg or you need to be cut from the team. How can you not get a rebound being that big? Me thinks Andre's biggest problem(haha pun not intended there) is that he plays tentative at times in fear of drawing fouls. Since he is so much bigger(haha pun intended there) than everyone on the court he can fart on a guy like Pullen and be called for a foul. A good post move by him looks like an offensive foul to official when the defender takes a flop. He just needs to play his game and be aggressive on offense. It is then up to Doc to work the official about guys flopping on him. As big(haha pun, I have been drinking Jack on the rocks all night, sorry) as he is he SHOULD NOT be fading away on any shot

I will destroy that thread. I am fed up with him attempting to play basketball. Saying he is a bad player would be too much of a compliment. He is the WORST!!! And I apologize for invading bball backers thread. It's all good, I am sure bball_backer might have one of those classic alcohol induced rant posts that may make this thread rise in epicness almost immediately

What you just described is what a TON of teams resumes look like from just conference games ALONE. The RPI had the best chance to rise tonight. A Mizzou win helps it, but not near as much. Wins over ISU and CU on the road even are not impressive. SOS of 80 and and RPI hoovering around 65 will NOT get you in. Personally they had to win out to be able to win one game in the tourney and get in. Nebraska must win the tourney.

And it all stems from running into him at halftime of the Va Tech game outside the North Stadium and he was gloriously buzzing. Great conversation.
