This is the scene of a movie, where the head coach has the team at halftime and the coach puts the football in the gut of the star player. Frost needs to look Martinez in the eyes and let him fly. We have a bye week next week to rest. Screw everything else. We get the ball to start the 2nd half and we can hang with Michigan. The guys just need the spark to get rolling.

Get in Martinez's face and tell him to run the f#&%ing ball when he can. He needs to be heroic again if we want to win tonight.

For such a highly rated recruit, he has been such a disappointment so far

Last night, Frost didn't seem satisfied until everyone was slaughtered and their land salted. If he continues to coach with that intensity and this team plays with the focus of last night, a bowl game is well within sight.

Right? Give this guy some time and we get this kind of football. What a difference a shake up in the O Line has made. NW isn't great this year, but that side of the line has suffered even against mediocre opponents this year. What a change.

I think if you can save tens of millions of dollars, it makes sense. Especially since this coach is one of our own. How bad would it look to fire our own guy who won a NC here after just 4 years? It already looks bad we fired a 9 win coach every year, having to pay out his contract, fired the coach after him, paying out his contract, had the recent AD resign, paying out his contract. Do we want to tack on tens of millions of dollars on to the end of all that? I believe Scott is here for the next 2-3 years. He's at least going to get 5 full years here to turn it around.

I feel like we got married to the hot popular person with no substance and as the years roll on, we figure out the hot popular person actually doesn't have any substance. We can either go two ways from here: Slip into full on addiction spirals with rehab and relapses which eventually leads to a hard dead end Or The hot popular person works on him/herself and it turns out to be okay and we have a nice stable relationship.

Thinking about all of his Yards (passing and rushing) and TDs, there can't be THAT many college football quarterbacks in history that have a Win/Loss record anywhere close to Martinez with the same stats. I don't even know how to look up that stat, or if it exists, but the list can't be long at all.

I don't feel like the AD will fire Frost for poor performance and thus pay out his contract. I can see him getting two more years. Next season's schedule is immeasurably easier (on paper and as of right now). So I think he's "safe" for now. If the NCAA investigations confirm that he violated his contract, which would be terms for firing for cause/breaching his contract, then we have a whole different ball game. what a s#!tty game. So many things that have become enigmatic of this team under Frost.
