Is there a formal press conference today on B10 network?

You can't put that on the next head coach. That's the type of administration meddling which has set NU back for the past 20+ years.
Nah, in this case you certainly can. You won't get a better WR coach at Nebraska.

Was this our best win since 9-4 Minnesota in 2016??? People don't realize how far we fell and what Mickey picked up. Dude did great for what he had to work with. I wouldn't hire a HC who said he wouldn't take Mickey on his staff.

I agree that I think he'll keep MJ and I hope he does so he can be developed more! He's a great WR coach and a great recruiter.
Not to mention bringing in Coleman and Miller for next years class. Lengthy athleticism

I kind of want him to get a little more HC experience at G5 school or something for the next 3 years...
I would rather have him get recruits and be a tough nose ACH/WR....

Keeping Mickey Joseph is vital to all of this. I'm fine if he isn't HC but dudes gotta be on staff.

Where did Campbell come from? He probably was Trev's first favorite, and may still be for all we know. Put that in your mind as an option.
Trev wanted Campbell 100% last year....but he is now going to be 4-8 and has lost as many close games as Scott Frost. Be a tough sell at this point.

Were there any legitimate P5 schools that Luke Fickell has turned down? He is in year 6 at a non-P5 school and went 6-7 in his one year at Ohio St

Has the night crew found us a coach yet?
Seems like Fickell is the hot topic now. I think he’d be a big get
Big time? Idk about that

Iowa’s best offensive player is out. If Iowa wins this game, they play in the BIG Championship and although they’ll be huge underdogs, at least they’d get their shot.
If this team of ours can’t get up for this game and bring their best selves on Friday, it will be very disappointing. This is a tremendous opportunity to play spoiler against a beatable team that has owned our asses for seven straight years.
While I agree I think that is more of a fan's take than a current player who has had 3 coaches and we also have a lot of new transfers especially on offense. Defense should hopefully relay the message...Tannor, Nelson, Newsome, Reimer

Nebraska media doesn't have a clue imo. They've named like 20 coaches

Iowa is rumored to be without their tight end LaPorta (who leads team in receiving) also without their starting FB. This at least can't hurt our chances though I don't know the players mindset right now given all that is going on.

Not my first choice but Klieman wouldn't be a bad hire. Would have a high floor at least I think at Nebraska. Fits the B10 west style of play.

Maybe...rumored to be a press conference Sunday/Monday after the Wisconsin game

DeBoer loves to throw the ball around....not sure that would be what Trev envisions right now.

Fleck?
Correct. I've expressed before he isn't my favorite but funny how under the radar he is to be Nebraska's HC.

Throw out the covid year because several players didn't play, no fans and all the other nonsense that went on. HC that many don't like but has done well recently...take a guess.
11-2
9-4
7-3 (currently)

Just one winning season as a P5 coach would be a good start as to why he's a bad choice.
So he's 1/2 at the worst P5 school all-time lol...I think he has a good track record of running the ball well. He also likes to use dual-threat QBs which I like.

Urban
Petersen
Kiffin
Everyone else.

He's a decent player. Not irreplaceable by any means.
Never said he is great but he leads the team in TFL and Sacks...also a veteran on the team and works hard. Way more dead weight elsewhere to get rid of.

It could end up not being his choice if he is back or not. I could see the new coach clearing out all the extra Covid year guys.
New coach would be dumb to get rid of a guy like Nelson...

For the 10th time...Hutmacher would be way better off at OG
Buford should be a CB. Also, has Kaine Williams been hurt all year or just no PT?
