Zero chance he gets 75 million votes.
At BEST he will hit 68.5 and that is a stretch.
But he won't sniff 70
I think you are probably right. I wouldn't say zero chance, but Clinton only got 65.8MM votes when she won the popular vote. 2020 was a weird year. Biden got 81 million in 2020. I really doubt he's getting that many in 2024. I wouldn't be surprised if this is a down election as far as # of voters. In 2020 it was a HUGE increase, far more than the entire population increased in that time.
The problem for Biden is people are only excited for him in order to keep Trump out.
Trump's base is excited for their cult leader who the commie left is trying to lock up, and they want to save him so he can save their country.
So maybe Trump wins 68MM to 66MM. And if he wins the popular vote there's almost no chance Biden wins the Electoral, unless he's super lucky in where his voters live.
In looking at these #s again for the first time since 2020... it's so f#&%ing bats#!t crazy Trump has convinced people the election was stolen. He lost by SIX MILLION VOTES. 51.3% to 46.9%. It was more than twice the margin (percentage-wise) Clinton won the popular vote by in 2016. -

Yeah whatever. My impression is the admin doesn't care about what is going on for who knows what reason. I find it ironic that Trump got elected on building a wall and the administration is helping make it a 2024 issue with perceived indifference.
A lot of politics right now is who is best at tricking you into having a certain impression. The Republicans are really good at it.

Biden's looking a lot worse now than he did in 2020. Trump has been leading in the poll average since Oct. of 2023 and has the biggest lead he's had right now.

poor guy just found out about trump loyalty
Why anyone would think Trump has loyalty to anyone but himself is beyond me. He'd send his own sons to the guillotine if he thought it benefited him.

You know the Republican party is a cult when a run of the mill president not doing anything out of the ordinary like Biden has about the same approval rating as a wannabe dictator who attempted a coup and says he wants to be like dictators. I won't list the rest of the things.

Why should they have punted? They were trying to win and sometimes during that process you take calculated risks, sometimes those risks pan out and sometimes they don't.
You're claiming it was a calculated risk. That's probably the main argument.

I'll be happy if we beat any conference team on the road. Not expecting that to be Illinois.

I wonder what makes people be this stupid. Trump's got something like 75% approval by Republicans. Orban is a dictator and he says he wants to be like him. Anyone who thinks a Republican dictatorship would be good for them because they're Republican, hasn't paid any attention to history. If their situation gets bad for whatever reason, and they complain about it, they'll just be RINOs which are worse than Democrats. And they will complain 5-10 years down the line when things have gotten worse for them than they are now.

If you're talking about Nelson, are you sure you heard right?
This is all the 247 article says:
"It’s something that I’ve been dreaming about forever," said Nelson. "I’m extremely excited to see the way of life and different culture. This will be my first time to Hawaii."

That entire commie country needs get reset like an old Nintendo game.
Even the former Soviet countries still have a lot of issues. E.g. if you want to get a driver’s license in Ukraine (based on pre-war knowledge) in any amount of decent time, you bribe someone, and then you don’t even have to pass the test. Or if you want your passport interview fast tracked you bribe them for that. There is a lot of corruption like that even in the local government, which is why I’m never surprised to see Zelensky firing people or having them arrested for stealing war funds.
They had that form of government too long and still haven’t completely changed the mindset.

I think my biggest concern, assuming we have decent QB play now, is end of game management. I felt that was pretty bad at times, even though we had a lot of practice at it. But one thing that fixes/hides that is scoring more points and being in fewer one score games.

There's too much going on here visually and not enough going on informationally.
I think it'd be better if they did it by conference, and showed a green line for entries and a red line for exits. It wouldn't be as hard to follow since there are only 9/10 conferences.- 1

Obviously somebody’s best course of study was not History. If only there were some historical examples of how a government transformed with the wrong person in charge. Pffft, crazy talk. Of course it could never happen.
I don't understand why people think laws won't ever be broken and governments can never change.

I'm a bandwagon fan, I can't handle disappointment with more than 1 team so it's either basketball or football.
Why is it that Mast travels every time I start watching? Does he do that a lot? Seems like a rare thing that gets called but maybe that's just in the NBA.

Do you honestly believe that Trump (if elected) will change a system of government that has been in place for almost 250 years? Honestly.
Like, it’s just you and I talking over a beer and no other HB posters around so you don’t have to worry about them agreeing or not. You could say with a straight face that a Trump Dictatorship is a legitimate possibility.
I think he has at least a 25% chance of it if he’s elected. It’s crazy to not think it’s a legitimate possibility. You’ve got blinders on if you don’t think it is.
I don’t understand why you think you need the comment about having a beer. Nobody saying this is doing it to try to impress anyone. They are just people paying a minimum amount of attention.
