Almost forgot....heard he is doing some interesting training drills for both defense and offense. I haven't seen it personally but hear it's some intense stuff!

Only recent news I saw was @YRSports tweeting about admissions, other then that should see him in June.

I remember that one! I still love the guys reaction on the 50yd line and the guy in the stands with the straw hat...classic!! This is a BIG day for his family, CJ, and Husker Nation!! Based on what I've been able to see at the field, Jackson and his Dad are doing some serious workouts to get him ready to compete.

Those comments came from the former Carolina Panther RB and Texas A&M star when he and Jackson were locked up during an unexpected one on one at Klein Collins where they both attended while in HS.

My day just got better.......heard Jackson's SAT score came back........ This is great news, he now has two qualifying scores!!!

That's what his family feels too but you know how others can be, negative.

There has been some concern by some in his camp that with Nebraska's limited numbers that Jackson may not have a ship when he gets qualified. I'm not in that know to know so if anyone can shed light on that, be my guess. I would hate for that to happen to this young man especially since it wasn't his fault the classes he took that the NCAA would pull the BS they did to NQ Jackson.

Jackson is doing his thing at the gym on a regular bases and sticky to the books. Knowing his Dad, he is making sure Charles is ready to play ball and he still looks like a physical freak. Dobson will enjoy putting good weight on him. FWIW I heard Jackson say "I can't wait to hit somebody this summer", so it sounds like he's ready to help the Blackshirts!

If my memory serves me, he already had an 18. He needs 7 or 8 more points accum to make it per his current GPA. If plans don't change (which means ACT score) ...YES! Tell him to hang in there. I follow him on Twitter so I know he's still excited about playing for Nebraska. Just do what you gotta do to qualify. We're not going anywhere. Agree with Nex. Tell him he has our full support!
