  1. Danny, I know you want to throw it a bunch here. I know it. But I am begging you, please put your pass play-sheet down. Put it down, Danny! It's gonna be okay. We're gonna get you through this. You're gonna call a run here. Just one run. If you still want to call a pass after that run, we'll talk you through it. But let's just start with this one run. Just give me one run. Can you do that, Danny? Can you do that for me? I think you can. I think you can.
  2. Do they ever call holding against our opponents, or . . . ?
  3. Because the fans are only dictating about 85% of personnel choices and play selection. When it becomes 100%, we'll start to close out games.
  4. Burn the clock and come away with points. That's all you gotta do. Even a 7 minute drive will win the game as long as we come away with points.
  5. You're already assuming Brown is going to shank another PAT, eh?
  6. Getting gashed here. Need to bring some pressure.
  7. Is it me, or are Chris Jones and Stanley Morgan the exact same person?
  8. Even the announcers be like, "Why the F are you even bothering to pass if you're Nebraska at this point? I'd run it four times if I had to."
  9. RUN THE BALL HERE OR STAY IN SAN FRANCISCO, LANGSDORF!!!!
  10. It occurred to me he might be hamming it up a bit to increase his street cred. Wouldn't shock me if an Athletic Department staffer paged him: "Hey, uh, Coach? Yeah, our research is showing that most fans think you're too soft and don't show enough emotion for your team. Can you mix in some jawing at the refs in the second half? It will really play well with the fans."
  11. Amazing how an effective offense translates to better D.
  12. I'm pretty sure Riley was referring to Langsdorf's heavy run selection in the first half.
  13. That is hilarious! And so, so true.
  14. Tommy plays with so much more confidence when the game is not on his shoulders (understandably so).
