  1. I am glad you "enjoyed" your time in Aggieland. I know it was a tough loss. Thank you for being complementary and avoiding the F U comments i have seen from other posters on this board. One of the main reasons those places weren't packed is because the majority of the fans are more about the tailgating. It gets CRAZY packed around the stadium. But not as much in the surrounding areas. The stadium food is HORRIBLE and we all agree. The crowd never feels as big as it is actually announced. But it WAS pretty crowded tonight. And all the extra seats on the track helped fill it out to. I am glad the jackwaggon fan was escorted out. Typically Aggies self police the fans. But we definitely have our fair share of obnoxious fans. Again I am glad you had a safe and enjoyable Aggieland experience. Nebraska fans are the class of the Big 12. I had some great conversations with some long time Big Red fans and it was great. I wish you guys all the best in your next endeavors.
  2. New total announced as of 3:30pm. 29,325 students have pulled tickets for the game. With a little more time left today we might break 30,000. If I am not mistaken that is more students than Nebraska has enrolled. This has by far been the biggest turn out for us in years. Good luck to both teams. This pic is a little dark. But the facilities guys are putting in the chairs on the track right now.
  3. There are so many good places to eat here in Aggieland. What kind of food are you looking for? Allow me to be your little virtual tour guide of the best place in Texas!
  4. Blackemon (sp?) lit up your hoss corner for 157 yards. Fuller is just as physical. If you go one on one with no safety help I think Fuller has a decent game. But a slugfest is exactly what I expect.
  5. Just as many players on the team have already mentioned. Martinez said something along the lines that he likes playing on the road because he likes playing in hostile environments with crazy crowds. Well I appreciate the civil conversation. You don't find that on many fan boards in the south half of the conference. I hope you guys are wrong. I expect Kyle to be crazy. I hope that plays in our favor. I think it will be a great game. If any of you make your way down then I hope Aggieland treats you well.
  6. Exactly, same thing with Okie lite and look how that game went. I would put our D up against anyone and like our chances. A&M defense is terrible? Is that why they were ranked in the top ten in the nation in run defense heading into Baylor? And yes I know they allowed 291 yards to Baylor. But I would say the A&M defense is FAR from terrible. Just ask OU with 1st and goal inside the five THREE times with no points to show for it.
  7. That is what i am counting on! But in all seriousness....I hope Martinez comes back strong and you play your best. I want to see the best team win. Of course I hope that is the Ags.
  8. Oh it will be loud. Quite possibly will be our largest crowd ever. Most definitely largest of the year. With a 4 game winning streak and Tannehill at the helm....Kyle Field will be rocking for sure.
  9. Aggie fan here. I will be shocked if EITHER team wins this one comfortably.
  10. The slot recievers will be blanketed by Gomes and Hagg, so I dont expect the slots to be a huge factor. OU took the same approach and Swope burned them for 8 catches, 136 yards and a touchdown. It will be intersting to see if Hagg can can follow him around the field all night. This isn't OU. This will be the best secondary A&M's QB and receivers will face during their college career. aTm only had 2 passign TDs against OU. Only one against Mizzou. We should be able to do at least that good. Our pass defense is a LOT better than OU or Mizzou. OU was a tough game for sure. But the MIZZOU game was with our old QB and before we (Aggies) started this serious upward trend. So I would say that is probably not a good measuring stick. So why did you only have one passing TD against Baylor yesterday? They have one of the worst pass defenses in the nation. We didn't need to pass the ball when Cyrus Gray was running it down their throat. But we had 3 Passing TD's called back on interesting flags. So the stats are a little skewed. And we passed the ball down to the goal line several times to then run it in. Tannehill had 280 yards. Not a bad day passing.

This is my first time here. I like what I have seen so far. Some pretty level headed fans. I think the two teams match up VERY well. It will come down to who brings their A game on Saturday. I think the biggest factor I haven't seen mentioned yet in this thread will be the fans. The 12th Man is sure to be on high alert with the #9 Huskers coming to town. Home Field advantage may just swing the tides in this game.
