"sip" or "tea sipper" is a pretty old derogatory term in reference to UT. As I heard it, as the Aggies went to war, the Longhorns sat around and sipped tea. It could also be a reference to the blue-collar school versus the well to do one.

There's about 2,000 members in the Corps of Cadets I believe. The student section at Kyle is pretty much the entire half of the stadium. Premium seats at most places. I don't know the numbers off hand, but I wouldn't be surprised if the student pull for most games is around 20,000. We get a lot of grief for being different and for being overly vocal in our support of the school and it's traditions, but I think the above helps make some of that devotion kinda cool. I'm looking forward to good game and I hope that y'all that are making the trip have a great time in Aggieland. Good luck in the Big 10, you'll be missed by most Aggie fans.
