  1. Bo said that he talked to the player whom "Carl was trying to help to the locker room." Clearly, that was a lie. It was not just a miscommunication. To say that it was a miscommunication is a lie. When one "apologizes" only after incontrovertible evidence has mounted, and when they tell an obvious lie even while apologizing, it is hard to take the apology seriously. I wish Nebraska nothing but the best. You guys are great, with a great program, great fans, great teams, and great leaders in the past. But I have no respect for the Pelini's at all. None.
  2. Sherman addressed the situation and said the KID is remorseful for something that, face it, commonly happens at the bottom of a football pile. Hot Carl on the other hand decided to lie about being a complete jackass. So Carl is a complete jackass for reacting to douchebaggery on the part of this camera guy, yet a purely defenseless player being grabbed and wrenched in the balls by your player is "addressed" by the coach.... doing nothing. Clearly you have the moral high ground here. You just called Jones a liar. What justifies your comment? How do you know that Jones is lying about what happened? If you haven't seen Aggies on Texags calling out Jerrod-Eddie for what he did, then you aren't looking. Good luck against OSU or OU in the championship game, and good luck against the Big 10. I hate those guys, so I'll be rooting for you guys.
  3. Let's suppose Jones called Carl an MFer or something. Just assume that it is true. (I don't believe that to be the case, but assume that it is). 1) That doesn't justify Carl's wrestling the camera away. 2) Why did Bo claim that Carl was just trying to help a player get through the crowd? Why not just admit what happened rather than lie about it?
  4. I haven't seen a single Aggie defend what Jerrod-Eddie did. In fact, I have seen almost every one of us say that we are embarrassed by it. However, those still pictures make it clear to anyone who takes the time to look that Pelini attacked a guy with a camera. It's right there in the pictures. I don't why you guys are trying to defend him. I don't blame you guys for what he did. I do blame you for trying to defend the indefensible. And I blame you for living in a glass house, yet throwing stones. You have an indefensible position of your own, yet you ignore that to cast stones at our team, our coach, after that embarrassment of a display by the officials. I am not defending Carl and I've said what he did is wrong. You know it, I know it, and Carl knows it. He'll get a slap on the wrist, he'll write the guy a check for his camera, and it'll be over. The major difference being that I'm not on TexAgs.com crying foul over what Jerrod-Eddie did to our player. Why? Because I know how foolish that would look in the face of what my coach did. Thanks for visiting. It's nice to see where your priorities are. I don't know what indefensible position you think I have taken. In my first post ever on this board, I said that Jerrod-Eddie was wrong in what he did and that I was embarrassed by it. On the other hand, I don't see a single post in which you admitted that Carl was in the wrong. Maybe I've just missed it, but I haven't seen it.
  6. The only people on the field were one of the 4,000 or so students and fans who were sitting on track seats. You guys should be honored that beating your team was considered such an accomplishment by our fans. Good luck against OU or OSU in the Big 12 championship game. ( I hope you get a new coach before the one you have ruins your well-earned good name.)
  7. Clearly you don't follow your own team very well because if Oklahoma wins at Ok St and you guys beat Texas on Thursday, there will be a three way tie in the south. Than it'll come down to BCS rankings and if you are within one spot of Oklahoma after their win and yours against Texas, than it goes to the headtohead rule which you guys have over Oklahoma. You're not out of the championship game... Yes, I know that if we beat Texas and OU beats OSU, we get a piece of a 3 way tie for the south championship. But, under that scenario, the representative from the south will be the team with the highest BCS ranking (unless the team that beat them is within one spot of them in the BCS polls). There is just no way that we can make up enough ground to get within one spot of OU if they beat OSU. It's just not possible. Ergo, we won't be going to the championship game.
  8. Some of you are more reasonable than others, which is to be expected. Good luck in the Big 10. I'll be rooting for you.
  9. How are the calls against Martin BS -- no one has seen replay -- NO one knows what he was called for - All the procedure penalties are fine. We are used to that from the past two years. Yeah, I'll agree that Cotton should have been penalized. He was getting the business but he should have controlled that. Human error there on the officials. The penalties that are BS are the ones on Eric Martin, Courtney Osbourne, and the no-call on the A&M DB. Now, they never actually showed the penalties on Eric Martin so that's an automatic BS right there. Courtney Osbourne made a legal hit on Ryan Tannehill a half second after he threw the ball. Not illegal. Finally, that no-call on the A&M which was obviously PI. Here's the thing, if the DB had just jumped in front of the pass, no big deal. But, he was holding onto the receiver's arm as he did it which didn't allow him to catch the ball. Obvious PI. That, my Aggie friend, is why we are angry. Watch that. Your player should have gotten a penalty like that as well as ben cotton's penalty. Of course, you wont rspond to this post because you would then have to admit that i was a penalty on A&M as well I've already admitted that it was a dirty play by the A&M player. I'm embarrassed by it. It was a penalty. But it wasn't seen. There were at least two obvious holds against NU that weren't seen, either.
  10. Why would A&M rushing the field make you lose respect for us? We've been down for a long, long time. We are ecstatic about finally having a team that fight hard to win, a team we can be proud of.
  11. I act like Pelini when we play poorly, but in the confines of my own home! I do the same things when the Ags play poorly, which has been often the past decade.
  12. Well, I STRONGLY disagree about two things: 1) the PI on your DB on the 3rd down play to Fuller was, to me, obviously the right call. 2) the non-PI on our DB on the 3rd down play near the goalline was, to me, obviously the right call (though it was close). The flag never should have been thrown in the first place. I can understand those two calls frustrating you guys. Truly, I can. But I think your emotion is getting the best of you. I thought both of those calls were correct. That's just my honest opinion.
  13. Maybe you are right. Maybe they missed some holds against us that should have been called. We probably felt bad about it and kicked 15 yard punts to try and even things out.
  14. You're Aggie friends must be idiots, as we won't even make the championship game. And, to be honest, you guys are sounding a little whiny. And you coach did look like an ass. That being said, I like NU. I wish you nothing but luck.
