  1. He seems pretty prepared to play at UCLA. He may not be able to take it to the house with his legs, which is probably why he wasn’t picked as the starter. This is Nebraska! Our QBs should always be a threat to score running touchdowns. I saw Gebbia as a Steve Young type of runner. Scamper for a first down and frustrate the opposing defense again and again. Best of luck to him. I personally would have pointed out to Gebbia that the statue out front of Memorial stadium is of the backup to Tommie Frazier. We all know NU would not have had the run of success without Brook Berringer!
  2. While visiting my brother this past weekend, we wanted to go and have a couple of beers and watch the game. A couple of years ago we did the same thing at another joint and it was too insane. I don't want to stand for the whole game and yell at the server for a drink. The solution Tom Reid's Hockey City Pub in St. Paul. The staff wore husker gear. There was a blow up 'Lil Red. They handed us 8 free drink tickets and free ribs. It was very relaxing and I could really focus on the game instead of dealing with rowdy drunks. A former player Josh Cobb was there. It was a positive experience. There were many empty seats, so if you guys are in the Twin Cities area and want to watch the game with like minded faithful who are not there to just drink 'til they puke, hit that joint up!
  3. Easy, Battle of the Bugeaters. since bugeaters was first used to describe iowa and not nebraska
  4. kchusker_chris please, i can't concentrate with those things flying around everywhere how can i get my sker news? please man, for the sake of the board it's like a hypnotist's medallion
  5. I heard what he did. It is in the best interest of the program to get a great guy to fill his spot. His coaching was not the issue. He is obviously an outstanding coach.
  6. Time will tell. Awareness is the first step.
  7. SDState We were flat out coached. Good thing we have better athletes. Those kids came to play and play tough. TEXAS We lost the mental game, so we lost the physical game. The QB from the Longhorns was patting our guys on the helmet and we didn't even put him in his place. FAIL Texas A&M The state of Texas beat us again. Yeah, the refs did their job. We need to learn to go down punching, not crying after an officiating induced loss. The Chancellor did no favors after that one. Coach Bo needed to learn the lesson in the stoic demeanor of Tom Osborne. I admire wearing your heart on your sleeve, but sometimes the cold shoulder gets the message across better. Experience decides what path one should take. Oklahoma Start strong, finish stronger. Save the drama for your mamma. One turnover and our team implodes. Holiday Bowl Like being on a game show and after you leave (the BIG12) you get the lovely parting gifts....a poopy bowl game. If you decide to accept, don't run through the same routine. Make it different. Make the last team we play suffer physically. Yet again, one turnover and our team implodes. The big red machine is a building process. The defensive mechanism needs oil and fine tuning, but it is there. The offense needs one thing more than anything else. A LEADER! Rally the troops. Bring the moxy. Swagger. I have seen the Huskers win games and turn into juggernauts because of a lost position. The unbelievable strength, determination, and power from the Full Back. This is NEBRASKA FOOTBALL! I'm not saying we need to run the Maryland I Formation, I'm saying we need that someone tough as nails to get us through the tough times. To lead the team mentally through physical domination regardless of the position he plays. BIG Ten...can't wait
