Call me Corso!---- (As I take my Nebraska hat off, through it across the room) Ahhh! F*ck It!!!!

Jesus Christ!!!! What excuses do we have now??? How many times have we fumbled it year, after year, after year??? Ridiculous........................shut up coaching staff, I'm tired of the excuses!
Bo will act as if it was Sipple who dropped the passes, Chatlein who fumbled the kickoff, and he'll blame McKweon for not being able to catch Robinson. The media will take the wrath, as always in the postgame press conferences.
-
Blame the special teams, they lost the game.
Agreed
We lost this game once it became apparent that we had a shot at a BCS game. We should have seen this coming, when "opportunity knocks", the Huskers hide in the closet and bump dickheads.

Big plays are needed FAST if we're even going to have a shot. Personally, I'm pretty sure we're screwed.
You are probably right.

A defense that cant stop a mobile QB against Robinson= Disaster.....

First, Mich. St. had great jerseys. As far as the game, MSUs defense looked very solid, but that is partly because MICHs offense is bad. Both offenses are less then average, and Mich. St. is mistake prone.
Bottom line, I think Nebraska should be the favorite in the legends division.

Our running game is making strides in improvement, and has continued to get better every game. The offensive line is becoming a strength on this team, and Burkhead is on of the best in the country. We have young talent on the line, young talent in the backfield, and a young talented (running) quarterback. We should end the season as one of the best running teams in the whole country.
By the way, Florida is NOT a better running team then us: http://espn.go.com/college-football/statistics/team/_/stat/rushing

The defense better learn how to shut down a running qb or we're in a shootout against Michigan. This game is probably it. We'll see how mich mich st do today but I can't imagine us losing to either team and having a chance. We'd be 3 games behind (2 losses and a tie breaker) if we lost to mich.
The defense keeps playin like dog doo doo....we could very well lose to Mich and Mich St....I hate it that our defense has plenty o question marks...
I think we all might be surprised what the second half of that Ohio St. game will do for our Defense. I suspect that after the bye week, and the Minnesota game our defense will look completely different then they did the first half of the year. Bo, and Carl didn't forget how to coach defense. The players just need to find their nitche, and come around. I believe they will. I have a feeling that we will end this season a lot different note then last year, I look for a strong finish.

What a piece of crap article. After a big win like that, this is what Barfy has to write about? Come on Lee, I thought you were better than that.
Did you really think he was better then that? Barfy is a douche! No offense ladies.

The defense is about to turn the corner defensively. Stafford is coming around, and I think they might have found something in Chase Rome, and Jean-Bapiste.
Now it would really be something if the defense turned the corner offensively.
I knew something was going to be said once I read it (should make more use of the preview post option).
However, if the defense could pull it off, that would be incredibly benefical.

While I agree that the Nebraska media is a joke, it is stunning how many people stand up for Bo and his antics. The media is a necessary evil and a part of the job he took when he signed on to be the HC at the University of Nebraska. He needs to grow up and play the game as every other HC at a major program does. I read a quote from another board that fits this situation quite nicely. Has the NU fan base turned into a bunch of hypocrites? It sure looks as if they have and it's very disappointing.
I just wonder what would happen if the media takes took off their kid gloves and really started reporting anything other than fluff pieces. Callahan got crucified by the media early on and Bo hasn't faced 1/8th the criticism that he did. Callahan got crucified for calling a bunch of Oklahoma fans "f'ing hillbillies" but hardly anyone touches that Bo gestured the NEBRASKA fans to f#*k off.
Bo and Nick Saban are very similar with the media. Things get overscrutinized in Nebraska.

Way I see it, is either Dirk mans up and says that, or he loses all ability to cover Husker football from here on out.
I think he values his job more than his pride.
I didnt see it as an apology at all. I thought he defended himself well.

Dirk can go suck a Dirk.
Clever.

No disrespect to you RR, but I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Tired of this conversation.
Understandable, just tthought Dirk deserved some dap after getting 'taken to the woodshead' on this board.

I give credit to Dirk Chatlein for taking the situation with Bo head on this morning in his lunch bites. He told his side of the story, and acknowledged Bo's right to act the way he did. In reality, Dirk is a professional journalists, but deep down he is a Husker-born guy like the rest of us, and I think he voices those concerns like most fans. He is critical, but so are we. He also cares, that much is clear. Very respectable 'brunch bites' by Dirk.
