Cool, but what does his nephew think about it? Is he excited and thrilled?

As a bears fan they are firing him a year too late.
Guy has been an absolute train wreck.
The bears problems start way above the head coach though.
Terrible ownership all the way down to the head coach. All need to go!
As a Bears fan I agree.
I remember last year and the second and third string OL out performed those who started. Will be interesting to see how he does

How does Whipple do on the recruiting trail? I get Joseph is an all star but he cant do it alone. Will Frost still head out?

Please explain. Just interested in why.
He played at Wisconsin and has a lot of experience, including NFL. This will be very attractive for recruits. He may sway Cam to stay because he knows exactly what it takes to play C (although Cam may move to G in NFL) at the next level.
* He also has a tie to a potential QB recruit.
How well will he recruit is one concern
He had success on the field, but how will it translate to coaching? He doesnt have much of a track record with that IMO
Was he up for other jobs or was this based on his last name
Fully hope I'm proved wrong though

Hopefully he can connect with the UCF QB.

South Dakota state and Sacramento state also play tonight.
the sdsu OC was a lineman for Wisconsin back in 98 and he is also the OL coach for sdsu.
might be worth digging into.

So he is coming as Associate HC, Passing Game Coordinator and WR coach....so we already have our OC.
Going to assume Korn is out, he would probably be passing game coordinator if hired. Would they have listed recruiting coordinator or is someone getting that job?

Look who's back. Back again.

Mark Stoops to OU???
Might be the only place Bob would leave retirement for
Bob has a great gig and would be crazy to go back. His legacy would take a hit with SEC play
