  1. Yes, because we all know Nebraska's strength is their passing offense right?? Man do some of you guys watch your own team?
  2. Yeah we do. Its simple, we got better as the year went on...Nebraska got worse. We're progressing, you're regressing. You hit your peak shortly after you beat Washington. After teams figured out Martinez couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat, his time as a dangerous QB ended.
  3. I've got 20 bucks says you're on here next Sunday for about two minutes to post some bogus thread about how if Washington hadn't had an off day, they woulda won instead of getting beat by a couple scores. You will then disappear and we'll never hear from you again, thankfully. Hmmm that scenario you described was pretty much what I saw.....ON THIS BOARD after the Holiday Bowl.
  4. Hahaha, you're one to talk *cough* Fresno State *cough*. Eastern won the FCS last year.
  5. To answer your question, any games playing on your local channels wont be broadcast on NFL Sunday Ticket. You may want to check that out.
  6. Honestly, I don't think you guys had an answer for Chris Polk in either game last year. Your defensive line was soft in my opinion. Sure, you defended the pass very well against us, but this year we've added a massive tight end and an explosive Wide Receiver to our offense. OUr offensive line is much more talented than a year ago. If that offensive line from a year ago dominated the Husker defense, this one will part your defensive line wider than when Moses parted the Red Sea! You still have Martinez, but I'll take my chances with Washington shutting him down than a team that has a scary passing attack. My prediction, Washington in a rout, 36-10. (You get 10 in garbage time)
  7. I'll explain it to you guys. Your defense really isn't all that great. Washington in all honesty manhandled your defensive line in both games. The only thing your defense did well was play the pass well. I mean, the way your cornerbacks use those illegal tactics is a real treat to watch. Man are they fast. In all honesty, can we stop pretending that Nebraska is a big time program. I mean, Washington isn't a big time program these days, but neither is Nebraska. Guys, almost a full generation has gone by since you won that last national championship. You're not big time anymore. I laugh when you people mock Washington for celebrating that Holiday Bowl win when you guys did the same exact thing one year earlier. I mean, am I right? Jeebus people I feel like im taking crazy pills here!
  8. The fact that you think your "young" and "talented" team is so awesome is laughable. You really think that game in seattle was a fluke dont you? You really are that clueless? I dont think I ever said it was a fluke. I said Nebraska won that game fair and square. I think that Washington was in the middle of a growing process. I think by years end, Washington started to hit their potential, your guys' growth remained flat, we were a better team at the end. Guys, cmon. Lets be honest. The Big 12 sucked last year and you still couldn't win it. The Pac-10 had two BCS teams who played well. Fact is, I never said Washington was "Awesome", its just...you werent that good.
  9. Enough already. My word - you make fun of some guy for saying "lulz" after you said "waahhh", and the proceed to argue with everybody that disagrees with you. Perhaps you should check your own maturity at the door. Furthermore, I don't think there's any room for you to call somebody a teenage girl when you accuse Nebraska of using "illegal tactics" like a tattle tale on the playground. If it were illegal it'd be called a penalty, right? You're the exact reason we've had problems with Washington fans on this board following the bowl game. Most of them come on here, pretend the non-con game didn't happen and then say Nebraska has no reason to make excuses for their Holiday Bowl loss. I'm sorry, but your fans made handfuls of excuses for why Nebraska destroyed you in the non-conference. The truth of the matter is Nebraska suffered a key injury to the most important member of our offense, a member of our offense that masked the bad consistency and execution errors Nebraska had for many games during the season. Without Martinez at full healthy, we just weren't the same team plain and simple. There's no way you or anybody can convince me that motivation wasn't a factor in that game. Nebraska got worse after the season went a long because of injuries and poor execution on offense, and was then told they had to go to a bowl game they did not expect to fall to and play a team they had dominated earlier in the season. And by dominate, I mean we literally made you look like you didn't belong on the field once the second half started. Washington, conversely, got better as the season progressed and made it to a bowl game that realistically speaking was better than what they deserved. Washington then had the chance to face a team that embarrassed them earlier in the season. Add those two things together and you have a motivated Washington team going against a Nebraska team that failed near the end of the season and fell to a bowl game they didn't want to be in. This team had BCS prospects that they let flounder away, and somehow they're supposed to be motivated to face a less talented Washington team? I'm sorry, but your argument is faulty. Lastly, can you please tell me how upset you are about how Nebraska plays defense and all of those "illegal tactics" they use? Honestly, I love reading you complain. Nebraska has a top 10 defense to show for it, and Washington ranked what, exactly? I guess there's nothing left for me to say. Oh wait, I almost forgot... LULZ Well, if any Washington fans made excuses after game 1, and trust me I've seen it firsthand that it is more than a possibility and I've chewed those fans out accordingly, then you've encountered the moron portion of our fanbase. We were outmatched in game 1. Game 2 in Seattle was a different story. YOU were outmatched. To be frank, you really didn't deserve to be on the same field as Washington outclassed you in every way except passing offense vs your pass defense (which everyone knows plays quite illegally). Finally, the term "Wah" was to mimic what you guys were doing. The term "lulz" is used exclusively by teenage girls to express their feelings over chat. I mean, that poster that used the term "lulz" might as well have used the tongue sticking out emoticon and then proceed to snip "it" off sometime right after that.
  10. 1. Injuries are apart of the game, and it can effect the outcome of a game, period. 2. Nebraska couldn't have cared less to play your sorry team again, in a bowl we played in the season before and killed a team better than yours. 3. We were a top 10 team to begin with, it might have been a little high but we still competed for our Confrence Championship, won our division, and won 10 games. And Jake Locker can't throw either how does 4-21 sound to you? Translation: We can't handle losing, so lets make excuses. Were too weak to admit we were worse than Washington at the end of the year. How does 19-7 sound to you hahaha. You're lucky Sark didn't figure out to run Chris Polk more in Game 1. All of Seattle saw that mismatch. Nebraska was having problems stopping him then. He figured it out in the rematch and your "physical" defense couldn't handle it. We were worse than Washington at the end of the season, because of injuries and lack of motivation. It's apart of the game, and it does effect the outcome the game. Your sorry team couldnt even play on the same field as a healthy and focused Nebraska team. Remember 56-21 smart guy? I wanna hear your excuses about that one. I can use the same excuses you guys used for your Holiday Bowl explanations. We lost to BYU weeks before, we werent healthy, we werent focused but the city of Seattle takes responsibility for the own actions like MEN. We simply said "Well played" and "We'll get you next time" which we made good on. That's what makes Seattle a world class city while Lincoln = Farmtown with excuses. You were banged up because you played a crappy BYU team?? Now whos making excuses?? Dumbest post ever. Hey I agree...I was demonstrating what you guys sound like with your excuses. Heck, even UCLA destroyed Texas in Austin and UCLA sucks. How did y'all do at home against Texas? You guys weren't that good to begin with. Washington, a young team still looking to find themselves, got off to a rocky start, but when they got to the end, they blew right through Little Red. We had a RS Frosh QB, a yound oline and we won more games than you in the end. Facing better competition. The young team excuse is not going to work here with us. That's rich. So UW lost because they were a young team off to a rocky start?? When our starting QB was a RS Frosh. BwahahahHaha? That's classic! So I guess the Huskies will be seasoned vets when they show up to Memorial Stadium this year. I’m going to go out on a limb right now: No way in hell UW will hang with us this year. It’ll be a 21 point game by halftime. And then the Huskers will step on the gas in the second half. It's gonna be a blood bath. Your offense is awful. I've got news for you. Words out on Martinez. He couldn't hit the broadside of a barn. (Terms you farmboys can understand)
  11. Martinez was very much injured after the Missouri game. He was never the same... When he did return to action after a few games there were times when he took off and pre-injury Martinez would have been gone for an easy TD against Texas A&M etc. but he was caught being hobbled. Martinez was still very much injured as well as our center who had zero problems in Husky stadium, but got pushed around like a rag doll in the bowl game. Did your players really improve that much? Did our center just really forget everything and get weak? We didn't have a capable backup, so he played. It was quite evident the team was also not motivated to play. Still in the end Washington won, so it doesn't matter. Those of us who live in relaity just know HOW the victory happened for Wasington and see that it isn't as likely of a scenario this fall. Reality is, Nebraska lost 3 of 4 to end the year and easily could have dropped another to Iowa state. Washington on the otherhand won 4 straight to end the year. Its simple what happened. Nebraska became a weaker team and Washington became a tougher team. Hence, you couldn't do anything on offense, you couldn't stop Chris Polk, we were just....oh so much better. Facts people. Thems the facts.

  14. LULZ!!! Illegal tactics. Maybe if your receivers could actually get off the jam, or find ways to get open against our Zone defense, or even change up the way they approach the line of scrimmage so our defense wouldn't pre-determine their route? You know, watching film on what players do and how they act to get open with certain routes? Besides, I read a stat somewhere where Jake Locker had to throw the ball away X amount of times his Senior year, not JUST the Nebraska game, but he shockingly had to throw the ball way against other teams too. So maybe your wide receivers aren't that good? His completion percentage would suffer from throw aways, and receivers not being open, at least I hope that was the excuse and reasoning, because my Titans drafted him and we are counting on him to be a Franchise quarterback. So if that's the case and you had that kind of guy on your team and could still muster out a mediocre season, I know I know you are re-building, I'm not kicking you when you're down, but you came in here firing shots about our defensive tactics, if you have a mediocre season with a quarterback that went THAT high in the draft....then your receivers coach must not be that good. And if Sark is calling the plays, well he is probably calling them to the best of his teams ability, again, as a Titans fan, I at least hope that's the excuses by his Senior season stats. And I won't go into mentioning why else the reason why we lost the game. Everyone else already covered it, heck, I got an e-mail from my dad saying "Really? Washington? Again, really?", everyone else I knew couldn't believe how bad of a match-up we got, even Osborne wasn't looking forward to playing Oklahoma twice in 1978, because in college football it is so hard to beat a team twice. So with that in mind NO ONE was pumped up for it, and that's what made it so hard to watch because when it really mattered, and when both teams were healthy we were dominant and have came close to knocking off two of the best teams in the nation in back to back years at Jerry World. Washington improved, from 3-6 to 7-6. Good for them. We got worse, after choking against Oklahoma, and our important Offensive MVP barely being able to run after the Missouri game, we were running on empty for offense and didn't have many capable back-ups. I hope for Locker's sake, and my Titans fan-dom sake, he doesn't share your views on illegal tactics, because if that's the case, he won't last long in Nashville, or the NFL in general. Illegal tactics. Lulz. First off....LULZ? What are you a teenage girl? Second, "We got worse, after choking against Oklahoma, and our important Offensive MVP barely being able to run after the Missouri game, we were running on empty for offense and didn't have many capable back-ups." Again, what you're saying is that if you were a better team, you would have won? Right? Sure, if we were a better team and had a capable back up QB we would have won. Also, if we hadn't been playing a second rate team from a second rate conference we would have actually shown up for the game. And would have won. As it is, the Huskers lacked motivation after the B12 CCG debacle against the whorns and didn't show up for the bowl game. That's part of the reason we sucked. Second rate conference? What was the bowl record of the Big 12 in the Bowl games? Did you guys have a NCG representative? Amuse me with your excuses? You have those on your side, I have facts.
