Eric the Red Posted October 25, 2006 Share Posted October 25, 2006 COX TO BROADCAST FIRST ROUND HIGH SCHOOL PLAYOFF GAME Omaha, Neb. – Cox Communications will replay select match-ups of the first three rounds of the NSAA Class A football playoffs beginning this weekend. The Oct. 27 Millard North at Bellevue West football game will air at 6 p.m. Oct. 29 on Cox Channel 2. The game also will be archived and available On Demand, Cox Channel 998. Second and third round playoff games will air at 6 p.m. on Nov. 5 and Nov. 12, respectively, also on Cox Channel 2. These games also will be available On Demand following broadcast. The broadcast team features Mark Kraynak (play by play), Nick Handley (color commentary) and Brian Paul (sideline reporter). Kraynak is local origination supervisor with Cox Communications. Handley is former host of Friday Night Lights on The Zone (1620 AM). He’s also the radio voice for the Omaha Beef and serves as public address announcer for the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights and Creighton women’s basketball. Paul is a former photojournalist with KPTM, Omaha’s Fox affiliate. He has covered Creighton basketball and Nebraska football for the past three years. Quote Link to comment
