husker rob
i really think that you have to give a staff 4-5 years to really judge how well they can do their jobs. during that time you see what they can do with players that they didnt recruit, how they recruit, and then how they coach with they players that they did recruit. nfortunately we Husker fans dont want to wait 4-5 years, we want instant gratification, and that is difficult to achieve anywhere Quote Link to comment
00Husker
A true sign of a great coach is realizing what is working and what is not working. There is such a superiority complex with Elmo and Coz. That is my biggest beef with them. The simple fact that is one injury killed us and the talent level is not there. However, they have tried some things (2 deep-man coverage) that just do not work with our corners, safeties and line backing core and are so reluctant to change when they become unsuccessful during games. HuskerfaninOkieland
A guy on BHF is saying "word around the campfire" is Thenarse is currently #1 on the depth chart over Andre Jones. Not sure if it's a motivation type thing or not. Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
Well unless a player or a coach has come out and said that he is #1 then I don't know if this is anything but a rumor. Callahan hasn't released an updated depth chart in about two years. I hope that Thenarse is getting a good look and a lot of reps but I would put this under the rumor category. Quote Link to comment
