Assessing the talent: Probably a little closer to 185 pounds, but that’s what one recruiting service gave so it’s in there. Didn’t run for a ton of yards last year, but the potential on his frame is good. He catches the ball quite a bit, either split out or in the backfield with may contribute to the lack in numbers. He’ll need to bulk up though. He says he’s a big play back with finesse and speed.

Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 5% but should change after visit. Up or down. He says growing up he loved watching Nebraska along with Miami. Nebraska has always been his childhood favorite. But, with the Jackson and lUcky coming in and commiting, Simpson has basically dropped NU from consideration.

I don't think that we are going to get this kid. WE are going hard after Marlon Lucky and A.J. Jimmerson from Missouri. I really don't think that we would try to bring in three backs especially since we have Jackson and Green already on the depth charts as freshman.

With Lucky choosing the Cornhuskers, it's obvious why a lot of the other RB recruits are dropping off. Simpson has appeared to do the same. He listed his top four, which did not include Nebraska.
