Here was the top 100 high school players in the 1996 signing class. Nebraska did pretty well coming off the '94 and '95 national championships. I didn't remember that DeAngelo Evans was the 6th best rated player in the country. Plus there were numerous that didn't even pan out probably because of academics (Pollard).
