hskrdedhed
I have been a commercial fisherman for about 10 years off and on. It's a whole different ballgame then most of the fishing i've done , but I can pretty much handle anything. I've worked the extremely long hours in brutal rough seas and have stayed out for weeks at a time. My longest trip was 37 days on a swordfish longliner. I have a spot on a boat if I want it , I just have to let him know by August. He will give me a full share due to my experience in other fisheries. I've commercially trapped stone crabs and lobsters in the southern Gulf of Mexico and caribbean. Basically it's the same concept but the traps weigh 800 pounds rather than 70 to 100 pounds and if you fall overboard down there , you can last alot longer than a few minutes in the water.
