Blackshirt Posted December 6, 2003 Share Posted December 6, 2003 Yes I believe Marvin Sanders is the front-runner for the DC spot if Pelini becomes HC. Trev isn't a coach. He may be intelligent, but not ready to be a coach at D-1 program like NU, even if he does know his stuff. A name will only take you so far. I like the Tom Rathman idea, and actually Bill Cowher would sound damn good too! Plus both of those guys have strong coaching merit as well as a strong name. If only we can be sure we dont lose Pelini if he doesnt get the gig. That has to be Steve's biggest deliberation.. Quote Link to comment
