BIGREDIOWAN
I just hope he stays consistent with his running and takes care of himself physically. Quote Link to comment
huskerpower_76
People (on the national scale) tend to forget that he was the second best high school running back in the nation when he committed. He has this offense down and now he is going to roll. Quote Link to comment
bethelbacker
I would love to see Lucky in the mix for the Heisman. Unfortunately, the media hates NU and even if Lucky was to put up Playstation Stats all year it has already been decided that dousche bag John David Booty from USC is going to win it. I do think a lot of the media hates NU, but I also have seen that the media responds very well to stud players from resurgent programs. If you look at Carson Palmer a while back, he had led USC back from the doldrums to a BCS bowl against Iowa. At that time, USC had sucked for most of the late 90s. If NU were to have a 12-2 season and Lucky was the driving force behind it, I wouldnt be surprised for him to be in the thick of the race. That said, he'd have to have 1700-plus yards and a lot of TDs, and we'd have to beat either USC or Texas. That's a lot of if's, but it's not out of the question. Up to his senior season, Palmer had been an up-and-down player who hadn't lived up to expectations. Sound familiar? Quote Link to comment
