It's basketball on grass. It's not real football." Such comments were typical among the players, and even from former defensive coordinator Kevin Cosgrove. No more. Barry Alverez : "I think this defense may be better equipped than what we've had in the past," UW head coach Barry Alvarez said. "We've been able to match up with four wide receivers." Is Barry talking about his players or Brett Bielema or both.. Jim Leonard "When you have a coach that is talking about attacking an offense rather than just containing them," senior free safety Jim Leonhard said, "that is the mind-set your team is going to take."
