how the hell is it a lateral move to go from "co-defensive coordinator" to defensive coordinator. No matter what OU does on defense, Pelini will never get all the credit, because they were doing it before he got there. He would have carte blanche to do whatever he wanted in Gainseville, because Spurrier could give a sh#t less about D.

 

I do agree about the bond shared by the coaches at OU, however. Time will tell. Who knows if Spurrier will even end up there.
