The offense kept fighting hard that day (they had to compensate for the defense, which I don't think gave up, it's just that they weren't being coached well). The offense's perseverance paid off. I think that was the beginning of the slide though. Even though we won the Ball State Game, that's when it all started to snowball, because it all hit the fan after that game. It got progressively worse, and yes, I think by the Mizzou game, and definitely the Okie State game, the players had given up and that trend continues. Quote Link to comment
