Drowning_in_the_Sea_of_Red
I think Cotton is still at Iowa State... not sure on Sanders... Quote Link to comment
huskernumerouno
Isn't sanders with one of the carolina teams Quote Link to comment
Fat Tire
I think Cotton got let go with the rest of the Iowa State staff when Chiznik (spelling) took over, also believe Sanders was let go when Butch Davis took over at Carolina...Where they are now is another story.. BehindEnemyLines
Cotton is coaching high school ball for now in Iowa. Sanders is unemployed, but drawing money from some contract deal with North Carolina. Quote Link to comment
HuskerMerlin
I had heard that the smartest best HEAD coach material on the Solich staff was Marvin Sanders.. and I haven't heard this from very many people but I like the way Cottons offense worked... not has drastic a change as we ended up with but it appeared after he got the head set for the colorado and bowl game we moved the ball and had some new wrinkles for the offense.... it wouldn't have hurt my feelings to have kept him as OC just to see what he could do... I really don't think he got much of a chance to show us what he would do with Solich calling the plays... just about a half cents worth Quote Link to comment

That's all I have to say on that. Quote Link to comment
